If i gotta say, this is the most iconic third gen song. If someone asks me what's the first song that comes to mind when they mention third generation kpop, love scenario is the song. along with ddu ddu ddu ddu, fake love, likey, don't wanna cry, russian roulette and love shot.

Love scenario is part of iKON's breakup tetralogy Love scenario Killing me Goodbye road I'm Ok iKON have a lot of sad bops with very meaningful lyrics Some of my favorite lyrics from the tetralogy: "I loved you to death but in the end I did not die" - goodbye road "My answer will always be a huge smile whenever someone asks if I'm okay" - im ok I'm ok is my personal fav especially because of the meaning of it's lyrics. It is part of the breakup tetralogy but the lyrics can also apply to people who aren't specifically going thru a breakup and just people who are going thru something hard in general

if we're talking about lyrics ikon is on another level. Their songs might be almost about love, break ups, etc. but it was literally well-written. Hoping you can react more to their songs. They r a hiphop based group but they explore diff genres. Their live performances is so satisfying to watch. swear.

@@1313__Shinobi i couldn't agree moreee! youre right about hanbin-- i mean look at him now, btbt was lit. ikon's flashback album is also their one of the best-- a literally no skip album. it showcased dk and bobby's amazing skills in writing and composing songs. even jinani helped in composing dragon. and junhoeee omg i love deep night so much!!! i hope he'll release a solo album soon.

if you're into k-entertainment, it's IMPOSSIBLE to escape the song as it's the biggest hit in 2018, grabbing most of the SOTY awards. this song has been dissected to death because the phenomenon it is, coz as much as it's popular with all ages, it's extremely popular with kids to the point it was banned in school coz once one kid sing it, all will sing along. why it feels familiar and timeless, coz structure-wise it's very simple and resembles children song, that's why it's easy for them to sing it even tho they don't know what tf is Love Scenario.

Using Love Scenario as a song to flex about the production time isn't really a good example because of it's simplicity. Still impressive but yeah, not a good example to use.

@@STN4D Why? Because of its simplicity but I think the lyrics poetic and it's flow is good. Korean said that the English translation doesn't do justice to Korean lyrics like it's kind of lyrics that can't be exactly translated and you can't feel the emotion or understand the creative wordplay if you don't know the language.

@@flymetotheup9904 as a music producer, Hanbin making Love Scenario in 2 hours is not surprising nor that impressive. A lot of Music Producers make tracks in hours. Some take days but if you gather the total time spent on a track, it likely won't exceed 12 hours... that is if the song is simplistic and is in this specific style. I could probably recreate Love Scenario's instrumental in just an hour. As for the lyrics, B.I is a genius so of course it won't take long. My main point is the production time of the instrumental of Love Scenario is not surprising. Your main point is the lyrics which are usually hard for a lot of artists but some are just naturally gifted. Hanbin happens to be a prodigy among prodigies when it comes to lyrics; a simple song like this won't take a lot of time if you ask me.

I completely agree about this song having a very "timeless" feel. It's kind of hard to put your finger on what exactly makes it feel that way, but so many of my favorite songs have that sort of "timeless" quality where I feel like I could have listened to it 20 years ago and 20 years in the future and would still like it.

The four songs never talks about how I need you to live. Love Scenario was a letting go and accepting song. Killing Me was a song that says that they don't know why they are hurting. Wondering if they really miss the girl or if it's just their selfishness of not being able to let go. Goodbye Road was wishing for the girl to be happy without him Im OK was about how he will deny the fact that he is hurting. They never once mention about how I can't live without you and i need you to survive. Pretty cool. I barely noticed that right now when you brought it up.
