Aside from Dreamcatcher, LOONA is one of the most unique group out there. Their solo songs were so good and very different from each other😭💕

Uhm if you start with their solos, please wacth since the first one: Heejin's debut. They show a story wich is connected through all mv's till now, that's why sometimes people don't get what they are saying bc the lyrics play another part of the Loonaverse too (it´s hard to explain it, every detail counts making things interesting). That's it :D I'll wait another month for other reaction, eventually you'll fall for them I know it.

My recommendation for you is to watch all of their solo and subunit mvs. The loona universe is amazing and different

colors is the main point of LOONA's MVs, you can't not love the MVs of them, they're all beautiful.... and for the song I get it, cause they always have different.. let's say genre... so there will always be a differsity. but if u follow the story of loonaverse from the beginning, you'll love them:)

LOONA songs aren't meant to likeable at first listen. Every comeback they do are actually very unexpected by Orbits. When LOONA was finally debuting, people thought they would do a cute song. But just a week before they debuted, they released favOriTe (Bad-ass, loud, arrogant). Then the fandom was shookt, they now don't know what kind of debut will come. Then they released Hi High (Orbits expecting a bad-ass song, they are given a cheerful and happy song that aims to celebrate LOONA's debut). Half a year later, they made a comeback with Butterfly (Which was elegant, graceful, soft and hard hitting). Waiting for a year later, So What dropped and everyone was out of their minds. So what was Bombastic, even louder than favOriTe, the pace was so fast you can't keep up, everything was happening so fast. Then Why Not. LOONA's definition of diversity is not something to be made fun of. Don't get me started at the pre-debut project which was the golden hour for Orbits (Imagine being fed contents every month). But the B#RN famine happened so, meh.

Don't worry about your taste because this honest reaction and just talk what you want

I think Loona has very experimental sound, like hi high is cute but its not that mainstream like what is love or candy pop, so what has like a dubstep vibe which isnt common in kpop, and then you have butterfly which doesnt even sounds like kpop. Why not for me its more similar to kpop nowadays, it isnt a bad thing obviously I just wanted to mention this. And because of their experimental sound, its common not to like it at first listen, it happened to me too, I had to listen to it a couple of times, and it grew on me A LOT, like now Loona is my ult group So yeah, its common not to like it a first because of their experimental and unique sound, I would recommend you to react to "Star" mv, is a Loona bside from the album of Why Not (12:00), which has more mainstream songs, I think you Will like that song a lot more. Also would be amazing if you react to the other bsides of that album, specially Hide and Seek and Oops! I always watch your videos and based on your opinions I think you Will like those two songs :)

One of my favorite Loona songs, but I respect your opinions. Great reaction, subbing. As a long time (30+ years) J-pop fan..this is the song that actually got me into K-pop because it's tempo and cuteness is very Japanese.

Aaron, Think of the series of Loona MVs as a book (The Loona-verse) with chapters continually being added. Hi High is approximately chapter 20 when all of the characters finally, happily meet with the addition of 12th member Olivia Hye joining them (high-board jumper). This chapter needs to be shown as a happy unification. (If however one prefers a Girl Crush chapter... well then that just wouldn’t fit here). Whereas the earlier chapters included individual character developments of different types, groupings of 3-4 characters coming together... then ultimately chapter Hi High. If you like sweet stories, that’s the first 8 chapters or so. Girl Crush comes later, followed by something different later on. From the MVs you said you watched, that’s like reading chapters 20-23 without taking in the earlier part of the Loona story. And just like in a book, maybe chapter 20 just isn’t your favorite... but in the book of Loona, Hi High fits perfectly. Btw, footnotes include additional info on memes, Loona TV clips, lore and much more. Many of those who have gotten to know Loona thru all, or most of the above have grown to appreciate them greatly, and have become Orbit fans. Maybe that could also be you... or there’s always that popular Twice story out there if that’s more to your liking. PS: The latest Loona chapter just came out called “Star”. You might like that more. And It’s all in English this time.

Hi high is my fav ot12 song and fav girlgroup debut song ever, but we all have different tastes. Please check out their solos I guarantee you that you'll absolutely love at least half of them

I understand that many (even Orbits) were surprised when Loona debuted as a whole OT12 with this song when they had a prerelease song called 'favOriTe' which sounded nothing like this. To me when I heard it, it didn't sound like a cutsy song that many people said it to be. Rather the genre of song is very much European electropop. Also the song had all the elements from all their 3 sub-groups and this was something I never thought was possible. This was something I really look forward to, especially when they did that genre with Loona yyxy's 'love4eva' and now with 'Why Not?'

i completely understand if its not to your taste, aaron. i was not the biggest enthusiast to hear that loona's entire group debut was going to be so cute and overly bubbly either... but when you follow these girls for 2 1/2 years, listen to all the solos, the sub units, get to know the members, the story behind the loonaverse and then getting to this debut song... for me, it worked so perfectly. seeing all the members together and singing together, it was a different kind of euphoria

I love loona

Reacting to their group debut is likely listening to one random song of an artist after they do a genre change. Technically all of their songs and MVs connect all the way back to Heejins Vivid debut. Personally I love the dichotomy of LOONA and it’s one of their strong points to me. They remind me a lot of NCT, who I also love for that same versatility. While other groups are trying to modify and grow up, LOONA is never the same so you have nothing to expect but to be surprised.

Loona is full of surprises, they have so many different genres and it's totally ok if some of them don't work for you, everyone has different musical tastes~ You should react to their solos and sub unit songs, I think all the solos from Odd eye circle (subunit) are similar to your style, but we'll see :D Thanks for reacting to loona~

For my opinion. U need to see the other songs that u might like first like kimlip eclipse or jinsoul singing in the rain. Or yves new. These type of songs are the one that makes people interested in Loona internationally. More beats and more deep. Or their subunit stuff because people who don't look at the previous stuff wont understand that loona is a group with many sounds. They might think their songs are weird. That's why u need to look at all the other old stuff.
