another tidbit is that Hanni was not a good dancer. HYBE must have really trained her very well to become the best dancer in the group. Hanni got into HYBE initially because of her vocals.

Upon hearing it several times, I think structure wise, the song doesn't have a verse. It goes like: Intro > Refrain > Pre-chorus > Chorus > Refrain > Pre-chorus > Chorus > Refrain > Outro. For reference, the intro is the "woo-ooh-ooh-ooh" part; the refrain is the "stay in the middle" part; and the pre-chorus is the "not just anybody..." part. (although the refrain is kinda used like a verse in the beginning of the song since it's also 8 bars, but I guess they felt that the transition towards the chorus would be abrupt and the song length will be shorter) The pre-chorus comes again after the refrain that followed the 1st chorus, but instead of going for the same 16 bars like the first pre-chorus, it just goes for 8 bars. Which made me realize further that songs in general have a pre-chorus is usually 4 bars. This song doesn't do that. Instead, to compensate for the lack of verses, I'm guessing they had to increase the length of the pre-chorus and double that amount. Maybe that's why the build up towards the first chorus is kinda satisfying, at least for me. The decision to add another 8 bars to the pre-chorus was perfect timing (which technically makes it the 2nd pre-chorus of the song, just before the chorus hits) I really love Ditto, it's my most favorite song out of all their releases. It's a treat for the ears ❤

the MV's real meaning was actually so good. tho. ditto, the song itself doesnt hook me up and i prefer hypeboy too. i mean, why would i watch an mv to appreciate a song while walking on the streets. no disrespect. i admit the mv is quite well made. but as an international fan, i can't bring myself to listen to the song in my free time.
