This OST is actually for the Japanese drama Final Life which stars Taemin

If "Rescue Me" sounds somewhat dated to you, that's because it is. The song was produced 2010-ish for SNSD as a group and stayed on SM's shelves until 2017 when Taemin got casted for a Japanese drama and SM needed a song for the OST. It was Taeyeon's first Japanese release but she actually properly debuted in the country a bit later with her single "Stay". I don't know what it is about this song though, but it's one of 2 songs by Taeyeon (the other one is "I Blame On You") that somehow get through my emotional barrier. It's the relatable lower notes in the verses and piercing cries towards the end (almost t.A.T.u. like), it's the guitars and Kelly Clarkson inspired sound that brings me back to my younger years. It's kind of raw in a good way. And no videos on RU-vid sound good. There is always a noticeable loss of quality even compared to lossy music streaming services.
