It is so hard to find the right words to describe Time Lapse. The lyrics and Taeyeon's emotional singing everytime she performs it live make it extra special. There are so many feelings one can associate with this song: heartbreak, pain, sadness but it is also comforting and gives a sense of closure, hope and healing. Looking forward to more reactions to Taeyeon's discography and live stages.

totally agree with your description. I see how this could be seen as a breakup song, but for me I associate it more to loss of a loved one. So whenever I watch her live perf. of this, I think of her dad and many others she has lost

Time Lapse is very near and dear to Taeyeon. She cries around 95% of the time while singing this live because she POURS all of her emotions into singing it. Every time she sings it live is an event. There's a reason why.

OHYMGOD FINALLY AARON!!! I WAS WAITING FOR THISSS. The live stage for this will break you 😭 She would be close to tears every live performance of this song. I believe there was one time she did cried. Even Taeyeon herself says every time she would sing this song, she has the urge to cry. I believe ever since she released this song, its always on her concert setlist.

The Tension in the last 30 seconds of the song when Taeyeon keeps on rising with her singing without a break in the verse, is ultimately relieved suddenly at the outro and that instrumental sounds like the most freeing feeling ever ! The Live performance of this song does so much justice bcoz this is the part where she breaks down whenever she sings it

for me the changing instrumentals are like the seasons changing, and the "repetitive" verses is how her feelings keep staying the same (missing that person) and that's why combined the song is perfectly called Time Lapse. It's honestly one of her best songs, and def. one of her most emotional ones, the first time I listened to it i got goosebumps and cried a little ngl, it resonated with me a lot, so thanks for reacting to it!! Hopefully, next will be Better Babe, Drawing Our Moments or Stress

such a stunning song, it manages to make me tear up everytime i listen to it and the live is SO good ugh hearing this live is on my bucket list tbh. and there could be many interpretations, it could be a break up with a loved one or it can describe someone grieving from a death of something/someone precious. always hits and the emotion she uses whenever singing this song is impeccable

The lyric and the melodies really fits well, i can feel the emotion trough her voice, and if you watch her live performance you’ll feel more...i have to say that this type of song is not my cup of tea but time lapse are definitely different..the fact that this is one of my fav really show how good it is. I actually think that aaron might not like this one but i was wrong and i’m happy about it. Thank you for the reaction, let’s react to taeyeon more💪💪💪

The song was composed by Kim Jongwan of the band Nell. I'm a fan of theirs and this song definitely has the signature Nell sound. If you liked how this was composed and arranged, you should check Nell's music~

Thanks for another reaction! Taeyeon’s magnus opus- Timelapse. I’ll never forget the day I first listened to it. I couldn’t move a muscle until the song ended lol. Just a beautiful song from the production, lyrics, and of course Taeyeon’s vocal delivery.

Time lapse is my song, Taeyeon released My Voice when I was going through a very harrowing time in my life, I had just cut ties with my best friend who was also my girlfriend, how much I heard this song and cried I can't describe. My Voice entire described my pain from the abrupt separation and the other pains. Listen to this song it makes me melancholy and nostalgic, it's not all bad because I remember all the times when I was happy with my best friend and as much as it hurt a lot, I'm glad to hear that she's been fine for those times. ~ My relate seems exaggerated and dramatic, but the facts were like that and all this just to say that this song was part of a turning point in my life and I love Time Lapse with all my heart!

My favorite Taeyeon song. 💜 It has so much emotions, it's hard not to cry while listening to this song. Especially after knowing the lyrics. Time Lapse is produced by the wonderful Kim Jong Wan, front man of the band Nell. He gifted this song to Taeyeon after seeing/hearing her incredible cover of their song Time Spent Walking Through Memories.

Hi. I am a Korean Taeyeon fan. I went to Taeyeon's concert three times. Taeyeon once said, Among the many songs, Time Lapse, Secret, and Gravity are said to be the most favorite. In particular, Time Lapse is sad every time I sing it.. I also listen to it sometimes after breaking up with my boyfriend, but the beat makes my heart pound and it makes me sad :( Thanks for the review!
