I love my Pleasure Way. Yes $20,000 more. I took that different from my IRA. Didn't look back. I bought the quality of Materials and craftsmanship . Great video guys.
I love that pleasure way. Quality is top notch. Love that dry bath! Like the porcelain toilet too. Black tank need to find dump station. But overall love it!
I like the features of the Elko and you can get it on the much more reliable Transit chassis. I was hoping the new 4 cylinder from Mercedes would be more reliable but so far that does not appear to be so. The quality of the Pleasureway portion of their rig would win me over if it was on say the Transit chassis.
Good informative video! Just as a correction, the Leisure Travel Vans Twin Bed and Rear Lounge models DO fit your definition of B+, as neither floor plan has a slideout (although the other floor plans do). We have the Unity Twin Bed model (yes, waited 18+ months for it to be built), and it was worth every minute of anticipation, it's GREAT!
My Pleasureway is so well built! I have modified quite a few things for full time living. For over 3 years I put the bed down and up every night with no issues! The front bath layout felt too constricting to me, so I changed it to a hidden shower and composting toilet.
Appreciate your frequent tours. Very helpful. Glad to see you commenting on the Pleasure Way quality. You missed something though: PW is the only manufacturer that stands behind their products the way they do: 5 YEAR WARRANTY!
You really can’t beat the quality of a Pleasureway. However some prefer the sportier / off-road rvs like the Ekko. Pleasureway takes great pride in how they build their B vans for sure. No cutting corners. Also for those considering one. Their after sales support is amazing. You get the same people on the phone all the time that actually know their rigs well. They don’t give you any run around and helping you is always their priority. So glad to see a lot more manufacturers making these B+ now.
You're showing your favourite van again. Do you think they can tell how much you love that van, considering how much time you give it compared to all the other vans. 😂❤
I really like the Pleasure Way the best. I like having a black tank instead of a cassette toilet & I like having the TV in the bedroom area. I just wish it was in the Transit chassis.
Another great review video! The Pleasure Way was really nice! The dry bath was quite beautiful. I’m not so sure it’s ready for the off road mods Bob has in mind, haha. 😉
They are so big! But I liked the third one best because it was so open on the inside. And I really liked the shower. I thought you guys would pick this one. When Hillary said she'd keep the beds at twin size, visions of "Lucy & Ricky Ricardo" sleeping in separate beds flashed in my head. You have to be old to remember that. 🤣
Great job Vancaskeys! Really like the Pleasureway. Last weekend the wife and I went to RV show in Tucson, checked out B’s and C’s. My beautiful wife says NO! All factors involved our course will be to go with a teardrop(Vistabule or TC) it just fits our needs and it’ll fit in our garage. Keep on rolling!
I keep thinking you guys are going to come away with a new RV and you don't. One of these days you will and I will be so shocked I will probably fall out of my seat. 🤣 Keep up the awesome videos, I look forward to you guys every week.
I was wondering what location was this review done. There is such a good selection of RV’s and I am in the market for one. I love the honesty in your reviews. This helps me tremendously ❤
Oh loving the Condor. It's simple but very functional. My favorite feature is the bathroom. It's spacious and it has a window that opens! I can't understand why any Bs or B plus' have immovable sinks, totally unnecessary. I would rather have the space to shower. There are a lot of windows, entrance door and back window. Great for a cross breeze. Price point is a big plus too and the tv looks bigger than the average. Thank you for the review. Think I found my next rig, currently have a Sprinter Thor (eew) 19P 😂.
The Pleasure Way: I would remove the sofa and rework the back to be a bed with garage underneath. They don't seem to make a version like that. Of course, CCC might become more of a problem....
The Pleasure Way easily wins this comparison. Sure, it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Canadian built RVs tend to be FAR better quality than those made in Indiana. PW has the best build quality out of all the mainstream brands and I love the open interior and large bathroom. My only complaints are that I don't think it has double pane windows, fresh water tank is too small, and it needs generator delete/larger battery option. I do prefer a cassette toilet over a black tank for the ease and convenience of dumping, but that's not necessarily a deal breaker. The Ekko is overpriced with sub-par build quality...hard pass on that one.
Thanks for all the GREAT videos. I think y'all are my favorite 🎉 Partly because you both are tall and also because of the very good informative content.😊 PS. Thanks for your ahnesty about Mr. Lemmon!
BtW you can get the Jayco Granite Ridge and Entegra Condor with a pop top also which is nice if you’re comparing it to the WB Ekko. The pivoting bath in the Ekko is great.
just say NO to single door fridges!(tired of defrosting) my fav B+ is aeonRV- they use a unique construction style that certainly seems tighter/more waterproof/bring it to the artic. More off-road than any of these pavement princesses. Interesting tech like using waste engine heat to heat the water tank.
If you ever get the chance, review the Itasca Viva 23L or Winnebago Trend 23L (B+)..... No longer made but still around and honestly, probably should be brought back?
I have a friend with a Mercedes sprinter work van. All repairs cost a fortune. He would never get another sprinter. Also, the service technician who came to warranty repair my house windows told me the fleet of Sprinters are always breaking down in the middle of nowhere and he would never buy a sprinter!
Pleasure Way has more lithium (600 amp hours) and a 3kw inverter. You can actually run the AC directly off the inverter (I.e., without either the gender or shore power). For us, the cassette toilet is a non-starter. Also don’t like the fridge - MUCH larger in the PW Plateau TS.
I agree with your choice here. However, I have avoided considering Mercedes due to occasional complaints about high routine service costs. Do you know anything about that? The comment here about Condor complaints should be heeded for sure. The subject problems were everywhere, including stuff not working, not connected or falling apart and excruciatingly slow accommodation for repair. Also, paid optional equipment never received though promised. Months waiting without the paid-for unit being available for use. Sounds like a nightmare.
In a rare moment of honesty, one of the salesman at that show admitted, he was going to trade his Mercedes sprinter B+ for a Ford Transit. He ran into a problem in Wyoming and could not find anyone nearby to service his Mercedes. Said he did not want that to happen again, so he was making the switch.
Hello guys I like your videos, very informative. I have a question how many miles do you travel in a year and how much was your cost of gas for the year. Is insurance expensive? Do you have a video explaining the switches for generator and what it runs. A video explaining when running on batteries only how long and what it can operate? Can I use a Ecoflo Delta Pro Ultra back up battery unit? Thanks Miguel from Cape Coral Fl.
It is interesting but here in Canada when traveling in remote areas, Mercedes service is really a problem. There is Ford dealers everywhere. For example in Magdelene Islands there is no Mercedes dealer but they have Ford. This is the reason why I won't buy a Sprinter based rv.
For the money, these seem better priced than vans. Supply & demand...? And didnt the last one have slide outs? 3rd def my favorite. Thanks for the video!
Thx for quick response. Saw your review of critter n going to jersey in a wk to pick one up after many yrs of deciding. Love u guys n your channel n content!! 💓 Bless your family. I'll never stop watching! So much education to gain here n yall adorable🥰can't wait to see what comes after mister Lemon. Travelsafely!! Thx again.
@6:01 just remove that table and toss it in the garage or basement. That area will be great open to lounge on or spin the seats around and have your legs on that lounger
At this time I'd avoid the Condor. It's known for a water leak between the chassis and coach. Generally just poor build quality in general. Several lawsuits.
When I had my Airstream Interstate at the MB dealership they let me take a new Sprinter for a few weeks. The 4 cylinder diesel would spin the rear wheels when you'd step on it.
So B+'s are built just like a C, but with a B price! Of the ones you looked at, my favorite would be the Pleasureway. My question is... What CHASSIS would you prefer, all things equal?
