I like both yuta and yuji as protaganist but I'm more interested in yuji's tragic story Yuta's story was kinda solved sort of in the movie. But Yuji's tragedy of life and the whole concept about him finding a meaning in death, and his more toxic relationship with sukuna that adds to that gives of a vibe that makes me more interested to see Yuji's life run it's course.
They explained all the concepts "again" because the manga this adapted was the first thing released of Jujutsu Kaisen. And that's was supposed to be it! But because this short four chapter Manga was a great success, Shonen Jump told Gege to write a full Manga. Which he is doing now
I'm not gona tell you to read the manga but I am gona tell you that if you liked the first season and are interested in Gojo's backstory, no boy are you gona LOOOOVE the second season
Am i the only one that thought about Love Chunibyo and Other Delusions when it came to Yuta and 'Rika' (Rikka). That would make a lovely Honest Review! I know it will
Was just rooting for the villian the entire movie, because any manga readers know the fate of all characters at this current time. Ik gojo is gojo. But i wanna see other jujutsu sorcerer that hype shit up as well especially as a villian. But we never get to see the villian actually fully utilizing all of his curse techniques. Bruh the plot armor are really thicc in this ones.
Some of us didn't leave the house because of covid... And some of us live in Albania where they don't show anime movies at the three theaters in Tirana. Also review engage kiss. It's a wild ride.
I can't wait for the video on season 2 hahahaha. For me, the prequele made everything so much better. Even Yuji improved because of that short appearence!! And Geto became much more full-fledged...
Her grandparent thinks she kill their parents not rika actually killing them. I think it’s because her mother died while giving her birth and she make out alive when she went hiking with her dad while her dad went missing or died.
I watched few episodes of Jujutsu kaisen few months ago before dropping it. I think I have graduated from Shonen category a long time ago because I can predict these cliche stories easily. By the way, when are you going for sports anime? I want Kuroko no basake review.
@@joestark_says Honesty tho, I regret my time being wasted to watch Haikyuu, I was new in that genre and didn't know what sport anime is. So i picked Haikyuu and Boom, it is BORING. It's like you get point when there is flashback of you training
The movie felt pretty meaningless until the last 30 minutes in my opinion, Yuta isn't really that well developed until the last fight and his charisma equals to that of a rock so he was a pretty boring protagonist throughout most of the movie for me, another thing that bothered me is that the stakes involved were 0, like c'mon, we knew from the beggining that they wouldn't kill characters they presented in season 1 in a movie like this, probably the most emotional part of the movie was the last conversation between the villain and Gojo. There's not really anything memorable about this movie, for example the Demon Slayer movie was great because Rengoku shined as a character throughout the whole run and had a tragic ending, this movie isn't bad but it also isn't special at all either, I would give it a 7/10
@@LunarEquinox AH! Senpai noticed me- Ahem... well need to rush yourself. I like watching your videos for your commentary and "method" of judging what is good writing or characters. I'm one of the guys who found you from your Fate series reviews but I also loved your Goblin Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, and especially your Cautious Hero reviews. Cautious Hero pretty much changed my dwindling attitude for the Isekai genre with how it twists up tropes and I'm STILL waiting for the eventual sequel. Loved how it went from a Konosuba clone but turned into Berserk by the final two chapters. Anyways, keep up the good work and I hope you find more new followers with your next uploads!
I literally saw the first minute of this video then thought "I should probably see the movie first" just saw the movie 2 minutes ago, thanks for forcing me to watch a pretty good movie lunar
Ughh sorry I fixed my error, so your like was removed sorry. But yeah idk maybe it's cuz I like Yuji's optimism in this kind of story, and now said optimism gets challenged in the next few arcs (similar Shiro Emiya in Fate). And I also like Yuto's backstory as simple as it was, it works. Basically I'm looking forward to season 2 and see they adept all of that.
@@LunarEquinox Ah never knew. But yeah I understand Yuji isn't the best protagonist and why he wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but for me he's at least endearing, and I couldn't think of worst protagonists.
Is he? Since technically they were the same age when they fell in love and she stayed by his side all his life.so technically they "grew up" together the fact that she's still a child is because she's dead and spirit can't age.
