Merry Christmas! Wanted to post this Friday but it's been a busy time with family. No upload tomorrow, (Christmas) but we'll be live streaming Wednesday and back to regular uploads this Friday! Hope you all have a great Holiday week! ☃🎄🫶 🫵 ✌
Maaan your production and footage is sooooo good. Also love this new series, I think these really give another element to your channel, would love to see more series like this too!
I work at Bear Claw Cabin (at the top of Reds Summit), we are only open 4 hours each day (usually 11-3). Come visit. It’s a dope place to catch your breath and eat nachos.
I love the vibe at Sundance as well. For those of us in Utah County, it’s super nice to have an option so close. I’m just getting into skiing and will be using their s-card this season. Great way to save money on lift tickets if you’re only going a few times.
Nailed the vibe...classy yet modest & humble, the staff is friendly and....uh, friendlier. Oh, and the food is priced reasonably, obviously prepared with care, and very very good. The website is a handful for sure but on anything you may be confused about when getting to Sundance, the staff is just incredibly helpful in clarifying.
Greta review Dan. The vibe and lack of powder-panic you describe reminds me of how Pow-Mow used to be before the California locust-cloud discovered it.
Fair review. It’s a special place and I’m grateful we have it so close to Utah County to enjoy. Season passes have skyrocketed compared to the length of season and amenities, and they’re innovation-less by the “this is how we’ve always done it” tradition. But I have to admit, the snow quality on the back mountain is BETTER than the Cottonwoods. Trust me on this one. When they get hit with the right storm, the riding is top notch. It’s a shame they’re situated so low on the mountain and in altitude in general. I love the staff and food. It feels like home when I’m there.
This is where I learned to ski and snowboard in the 90’s. Crazy how expensive it’s gotten for how small it is and how wet that front mountain gets. Getting back to the base after a day on the back mountain is like driving with the e-brake on.
The size and it's location are definitely keeping it from a higher score, unfortunately. But prices have gone up everywhere and compared to other resorts it's more reasonable, IMO.
Thanks for the review Dan. I’ll be there in march driving up from Phoenix my season pass offers 3 free days at Sundance so definitely excited to take advantage of that and while I’m there also squeeze in a day Park city. Appreciate the great videos.
