A simpler time when Batman could do his acts in the middle of a day.

My favorite part of the old show was the fact that everything in the batcave was labeled, in case batman and Robin somehow forgot what they were supposed to do with their own technology.

In this movie there is a dolphin who swims in front of a torpedo to save batman and Robin in the Batboat. Batman then says some kind words for the dolphins sacrifice. This movie has EVERYTHING.

I loved this show when I was younger. Never having read any of the comics, I didn't have anything to compare with and I really enjoyed how campy it was. Adam West was incredible.

Best part of this movie is where they go through each villain. "That shark was really pulling my leg." [Gasp] "The Joker!" "And it happened at sea. 'C' for Catwoman!" "This is very fishy...the Penguin!" "It all adds up to a sinister riddle." [Gasp] "Riddle-ER!" God this movie is so dumb and glorious.

During the bat branding part, my wireless earbuds chimed in with "bat-tery low." Perfect timing.

A couple years ago i got my nephew the 1960's movie after i noticed he had some toys modeled after it. I was slightly worried it would be to slow, or boring for him since it's not in a modern style. But he _LOVED_ it. We re-watched it first thing the next day then spent weeks quoting lines from it to each other. That Christmas his parents got him the entire TV series and he is always willing to be the first to defend Adam West as _the_ best Batman to ever be when ever the topic comes up.

He was actually in amazing shape - he just had a really low ribcage, and the position of the belt makes it looks like his stomach. Never understood why they didn’t just lower the belt.

Wait a minute, Robin didn't suck in Batman: The Animated Series.

This was the absolute perfect movie to grow up watching. Wholesome enough to not need censoring or parents answering awkward questions, yet hokey enough that even in the 90's we knew it was dorky. Yet we couldn't stop watching this on endless repeat. "Hand me down the shark repellent Bat-Spray!" Man, always been one of my favorite movie lines!

To be fair, this is the only Batman movie to show him being a detective and a scientist. I mean he collects evidence, solves riddles, and even has a lab complete with a super molecular dust separator.

This movie was my introduction to Batman. I loved it as a kid and I still love it as an adult. I think this movie a near-perfect example of having a clear vision for a movie and executing it perfectly. If you complain that the movie is too cheesy than you're missing the point.

OMG I remember the "shark repellent bat spray"! I didn't even know I still had that memory! Watching him dangle on a ladder and punch an obviously fake shark is so hilarious!!!

Even as a kid (20: years after the movie came out) I was astonished at how absurd the Riddler’s riddles were...and even more so how Robin was able to solve them IMMEDIATELY.

843 people didn't care for the Bright Knight. The movie was really campy, fun, and when you can't get rid of a bomb...you can't get rid of it, or at the very least, save the ducks. RIP, Adam West. You made my childhood fun.

I have a, for lack of a better word, theory about the 60s Batman: this Batman is a version of Batman who had the mental strength to completely accept and even move on from his parents death and doesn’t let it traumatize him and because of this he becomes Batman to simply help out the city he loves. It doesn’t need to be this silly but this is a Batman that I want to see again at some point!

Adam West has always been my favorite Batman, mostly because hes what i grew up with but also because the puns and "dad jokes" are too much to handle in this movie Rest in peace Adam ❤

I used to watch this back in the day with my grandpa, while my parents were at work. I was about 7, he was like 70, and I remember we both enjoyed it and laughed together at the same stuff. You don't get a lot of that kind of TV these days.

That submarine deck fight is deadass one of the best action sequences in a superhero movie.

My favorite moment from the show was when Bruce and Dick were away and Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara are faced with the realization they'll have to solve a case by themselves. Also, I'll have to admit that in my youth watching Batgirl in purple high heels and shiny spandex kicking men in the face gave me strange feelings.

1960s Batman was the best rerun on tv in the 1980s. 2nd was TOS 3rd was I dream of Jeannie. 4th was the others. in my always humble opinion.

The best scene is when Batman uses a live (real) cat to block a punch, then also uses that cat to push a harpoon gun into a villain before finally putting that cat onto a rubber raft (while it is totally freaked out, so...claws out) at sea. Best. Scene. Ever.
