In today's episode, we have with us Ma Anand Sheela. extremely humbling to have her on the show, and record this beautiful episode at our space. At age 18, she moved to the United States and attended her education in New Jersey. She returned to India in 1972 to pursue spiritual studies with her husband. They soon became disciples of the Indian guru Rajneesh (OSHO) and Sheela took the name Ma Anand Sheela. She is someone who was firsthand of Bhagawan Rajneesh aka OSHO. She was directly working with OSHO, they left India and established an ashram in the United States, in 1981.

She has answered the question very clearly! Her explanation is Osho believed in exploring your sexuality so that one can remove guilt, shame, insecurities around that subject or else one would get struck with sexual addictions or violence. You can transcend only after you have explored and have no curiosity around that subject!

She dodged the question by making it look like she misunderstood the question, and started diverting the question. With age comes wisdom, and the sense of gaining respect. It was supposed to be a yes or no answer then the explanation. The fear of being judged Haunted her after talking about freedom to discuss sexuality. What an irony.

In osho's words this female, ( I don't think she deserves to be addressed decently) while her husband was suffering from cancer wanted osho to be their savior because the doctors had said that he had only two years to live. Meditation extended his life span to eight more years. The day he crossed two years she started dating other guys, getting them to their room for night stay and that man had no other option but to see, hear and undergo mental trauma because of her. She earned rather looted as much as she could from osho and his ashram and secured her future that's all she is.

Doing spiritual practices n at the same time making so many wonderful videos, Ranveer really owes lots of compliments. At such a young age, he is interviewing such great personalities is in itself a tough job . But the way he humbly carries the shows is amazing. Talking with Sri M, Sadhguru n then Acharya Prashant n now Sheela is indeed a great talent n needs immense patience. Keep it up Ranveer !

I think shes trying to explain the spectrum of sexuality which ranges from divine love making to vulgar/obscene sexual assault/rape. One end of the spectrum is loving someone like you love yourself while the other end is beyond primal- promiscuity and perversion. Understand sexuality and using the sexual energy in an appropriate and acceptable manner is critical. World needs this in my opinion.

I had admired Osho and still do. I believe he had vast knowledge and his books are written in a way that one feels he is talking to you. However I couldn't understand the answers of Ma Anand Sheela. It seems she was not really answering the question or questions but, sharing her own knowledge of the subject. I do respect her but this interview has left me wondering if she was answering the questions or what?

Very wise lady. Most people won't get this. And it's okay to be misunderstood. One can only plant a seed of thought and watch it bloom or die. It's no one's job to make anyone understand their own truth. It's up to themselves to fathom their own truth. There's no right or wrong way of doing things. The more you open your mind, things get easier to understand. Thank you for the knowledge you shared ma'am.

What osha says about Sheila was when she was making money on his name in USA and then she ran to Switzerland. She was not allowed to go to puna and she was used and came out of prison against osho. She had to leave USA
