Honest Truth About What It's Like To Own And Live With A 2024 Mazda CX-90! 

I picked up my CX90 Turbo S Premium Plus in Sep. 2023. There were a number of issues that needed to be addressed and if you own a CX90 you know what they were. About two months ago I received a notification that updates for the CX90 were available. The updates took about two hours to complete. When I got my vehicle back I drove it for about a half an hour & I must say it felt like it was a totally different vehicle. The acceleration and transmission had a marked improvement. So if you have not got the updates done, you need to get it done ASAP. You will be glad you did.

I just bought me a 24 model year CX-90 and I love it. I got the Premium trim level because I wanted the upgraded sound system. To say the least, I love my car. The technology is supreme and the attention to detail that Mazda took is awesome. It is just a well-made vehicle assembled in Japan. The one thing I recommend to anyone considering buying this vehicle is to invest in a nice paint protection film or at the very least a ceramic coating to protect your paint. I tend to drive a lot of highway miles and those bugs hitting your front bumper can mess up your paint.

Dream car! I’ve crossed shop this with a few others like the X5, X4, MDX, XT5, and Q7. I don’t know which one I’ll go with but I really do like the CX90. The only thing I’m worried about is maintenance costs as I’ve heard they can get really expensive if you don’t treat the car right.

Try changing the battery in the fob. They can go prematurely bad. I think it can be caused by being in your pocket and you sit so as to push a button. The reason the ignition works is there is a low power battery in the fob, all fobs work this way. Anyway the door will also be more reactive with a fresh battery.

I see they have the same cx50 seats, which are hard as a rock.

Came for the CX 90 review because I just got the sister vehicle, the CX70 in the PHEV variant. Almost bought the 90 because I also have a small family and the third row was appealing. Ironically, I work for @TheRagCompany... and we happen to do a lot of videos on vehicle detailing, my 70 will be on the channel within the next month or so. Got it in the Soul Red keep an eye out for it.

Loving my CX90 so far. As long Mazda fix the know issues I am good with it.

For the trunk issue, you might want to take that in for a repair. That doesn't look normal. Should be covered under warranty

You started washing in the day and it cut into the night. You was out there GRINDING ! Hopefully Mazda does something about the trunk soon, crazy how first year editions always have issues. Great family vehicle though, WE OUTSIDE !

It looks a smidge bigger than my wife’s Toyota Highlander. There was almost no space in the cargo area when the 3rd row seats were up!

Even though I'm single, the CX-90 gives you value for the price! One issue to note, as mentioned to me from a 30 year body shop pro, the paint is very thin on the Mazda CX-90. Instead, I purchased a Lexus LC500 coupe, for my single lifestyle.

The other thing I noticed was the seat behind the driver, wow I'm 6'1 and there's about one inch of leg room. Who can sit in that seat. That concerns me

Broooo I am shocked the family vehicle is clean as it with 3 kids and you calling it dirty lol. You will have a heart attack if you see how the boys destroys our family vehicle. That trunk issue would annoy the hell out of me! Overall that CX-90 is fancy! I seen one on the road and thought of you but it was in black. Good vehicle you got there for the family.

minivans or wagons are better then suvs imo especially if you need more space

I have a Lexus NX300. My Wife needs a Daily Driver that can fit our two kids in the rear seat with carseats and 2 other people. We don't intend to pack it in all the time. Price point it seems very enticing as mid 40's is what we got her Lexus for. I'm just curious regarding the reliability. And I'm guessing you can't really fit a stroller in there unless you fold the back two seats? (Which i most likely will do) Should I just wait for the 2025 model? Or that won't really be addressed
