5 reasons to get this car. 1. I think you should. 2. I like the way it looks. 3. It has features I like. 4. I’m making money to tel you these things. 5. I’m making money off of you listening to me tell you these things. It’s a great car.
I've been subscribed to your channel since before your 2019 Golf R bro I was there from the black STI you had I agree with you on the years hopefully Volkswagen will bring back the manual after 2025.
Man I didn't realize you went that far back I thought you joined the crew because of the Golf R lol, glad to know you've been with the channel pretty much the whole way.
MK8 owners haven’t put enough miles on them yet to determine their reliability. I think it’s too soon for you to call it. The MK7’s have proven to be reliable because of the abuse and miles owners have put on them.
@RaceCarFriends should definitely get a catch can then. I had a notable amount at around 1k miles driven. I would guess it would be full at around 10k miles. The HPS kit I installed has a dipstick to monitor too.
ive been watching since november last year when I bought a new wrx. I was sad to see yours go. sadly some asshole ran a light a t boned me at 55mph. some broken ribs and cuts but nothing too serious. just goes to show how safe the wrx is. I did buy a 2024 gti 380se two days ago though lol. wrx was totaled. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jR7oqwhaHbE.html
Good to see someone who appreciates a car bc, well YOU appreciate it. Too many people get caught in trends, 0-60, 1/4 miles times, HP, want a car full of tech. You seem to choose cars solely based on what you like. Props to you.
Rs3 easy, type r is a scam, you can get a superior variant in the integra type s for 10k less. The rs3 has no superior cheaper variant. Also, awd for winter usability, better interior and tech + more hp.
@@RaceCarFriends difference is nothing really, they’re about 20-40lbs different in weight & 5hp apart. On the other hand, the rs3 has 500ccs more, an extra cylinder, & 100hp more than the s3 and the civic. Furthermore, the Audi is superior in interior, tech, acceleration, winter usability, build quality and likely comfort as well. A more viable parallel is the s3 vs the type r. The rs3 vs the type r, the rs3 outclasses it in a plethora of ways
Can someone tell me what the difference is between the 2024 Volkswagen GOLF GTI 380 Autobahn and the 2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI 380 SE they look the same, but the Autobahn is a bit more expensive
@@RaceCarFriends I was going to go to the dealership today and get one 2024 VW GTI SE 380, but then I saw the Autobahn version that looks identical but more expensive; I was comparing them one by one but haven't found the specific differences. The car is $40-$43K a bit pricey. Do you still like yours?
@@marvinmurcia1142 I actually got the S trim because I wanted to get the volume knobs and plaid seats, and then was pleasantly surprised with the much lower price compared to the Autobahn.
I'm choosing the Type R over anything under 50k. At 65k I'm picking the Cadillac CT4-V over the RS3 all day long. The new Audis and BMWs are somehow amazing performance wise but boring to drive. They just feel numb or sterile. I don't know how to describe it. CT4-V and Type R are ridiculously fun to drive.
@@RaceCarFriends only because I can’t afford 2 cars and I live in new York so as a 1 car solution the RS3 takes the cake. And I’m also probably one of the few people to say this but I’m not a fan of the type r interior it’s too much red for me
@@jacobkeller6768 You can actually afford 5 cars it's just that you live in NY lol make the move to FL like I did you'll save a whole lot of money and have better quality of life trust me.
@@RaceCarFriends if I didn’t have the house I’m paying on I would have moved to South Carolina. I should have 2 years ago before buying a house and keeping myself stuck in NY
