Living space and work space, with work space having 2 types drawn and undrawn. It can be difficult pushing those limits with out taking them over, I maybe glad my over winters are on the small side. Thanks for sharing your time Keith.

That was a strong split that should take off in a short time. There is one thing that I do when splitting is reduce the entrance on the new hive. Like you said there are mostly nurse bees in there so there isn't any guard bees to protect. Just in case??

There is a piece of 1/8" screen folded in the entrance with only about an inch open. Agree.....without guard bees the split is vulnerable!!! 👍
