Made this today and it was delicious! The portion size was big and the meal was very filling. I did make this with 1dl (80g) of rice though, so it was around 700 calories. Nice recipe, and I don't usually even like zucchini 😄
To anyone on the fence about the cookbook I HIGHLY recommend. I initially balked at the price but man that thing is packed. From things you should have in your pantry and their caloric values to explaining how you can combine them in all kinds of cool ways. I went from thinking it was expensive to thinking its a straight up bargain. And he's not kidding about the updates. New versions straight to your inbox. Again, cant recommend highly enough if you want to create a healthier relationship with cooking or want some fresh ideas.
Perhaps I'll consider getting it! Would you mind telling me how many recipies in there do NOT use one of more of the following: Yoghurt/Greek Yoghurt/Skyr, Cream Cheese/Cottage Cheese, Sour Cream/Creme Fraiche, Buttermilk, Mayonnaise, Tuna? If the amount is over a certain threshold I'll most probably get it, but those ingredients are basically no-gos for me and my concern is that most of the book, particularly desserts, might rely on those admittedly great protein sources.
Okay, Felu, I need you to make something on the channel! I was in America for the first time a few weeks back and we went to something called TenderGreens that served me a bowl of sticky coconutflavored white rice with medium rare steak on top. It was SO GOOOOOD! Honestly, maybe you could do a recipe on the channel with coconut flavored rice? It was just so good, and surely there's a way to make it taste like that with low fat coconut water of some sort. Like, I'm not even sure how they made it. I've just been wanting to have it again ever since!
I just recently discovered your channel and I predict millions of subs in the future. There are many great cooking channels that I follow and keep following with enthusiasm, but your recipes are really innovative, unique and extremely tasty. Your way of designing them to be healthy and balanced in calories is amazing. You are the first channel that really showed me that healthy food can be delicious, so if I make it to 100, you will have some thanks.
Tried this today and it's absolutely wonderful. Everything just melts in your mouth 🤤 My tweaks: Didn't have balsamic vinegar so I used what we have here which is cane vinegar. Eyeballed all the measurements!
Felu, as usual your recipes are outstanding, I want to tell you that as ever I enjoy watching your videos they are very personable and unique. You deliver really useful information the content of your videos are enjoyable to watch I always look forward to seeing your new resources not to mention re-watching existing clips. You have inspired me personally and I am now enjoying low fat low calorie food without compromise of Flavour or nutrition, so thank you once again.
stuff works. I didn't try all of recipes here but I did mix in with some of my own flavor and veggies and made nice side dish that I can eat with my brown rice. I divided portion so each meal contains around 500-550 calories and ate 3 meals a day + 1 protein shake with frozen fruits in it, making it total around 1800-2000 calories a day. added with almost daily cardio and 3x a week lifting weight, I lost 40 lbs in 16 weeks and still losing. my goal of losing 100 lbs by end of the year is no longer a dream and I am doing it without skipping meal and starving myself to death. not only that, it reduced my meal cost by 50% and I stopped ordering shiit from ubereats and stopped going to fastfood stores. :)
holy crap. this is incredible. i dont like zucchini, so i just actually only used green onions. the flavor is incredible. the only regret i have is that i didnt make nearly enough. this is something i am going to mass produce. i also added a little water to the sauce before i through it in with the rest. i was nervous it would be too strong without it.
PS: If you allow me to make this silly comment: your voice and way of speaking is like a mix between Arnold Schwarzenegger and King Kai from Dragonball Z. :D
Just be aware that raw chicken breast has less protein per g. Cooked chicken breast has about 30g of protein per 100g. Obviously you can work it out from the raw weight! You don’t get more protein by cooking it 😅
Thanks for your comment but I believe what the USDA laboratory tells me after they measured raw chicken breast in a calorimeter and that is what I state in the video
@@Felu I’m not saying what you said I’m the video is incorrect. But the weight of the raw chicken will be less as water cooks out. So you can more accurately gauge the amount of protein by measuring the cooked weight, as depending on the quality of your produce, it will have a variable amount of water.
I looked on my local stores' phone apps to see if they carry Balsamic Vinegar Crema and they only have Balsamic Vinegar Glaze. Do you know if that is the same thing. Thanks
Here we buy it at the supermarket (Netherlands). If you can find it, it's really good on many different recipes (salads too etc). If you cannot find it, I think normal balsamic vinegar comes close enough but it's a little more fluid so perhaps you'll need a bit more corn starch?
@@NM-so8kh Cheers for the Medical Hormon Cocktail to heal the Industry Chickenproblems...which help you to eat cheaper Chickmeat😃BTW...in the US I would never eat any chicken meat.
I really want to thankyou man, honestly as a student, youve made my life a lot easier than before. I went from a 'i dont have time to prepare my own meals' to a guy who focuses on diet and workout regularly. Your videos give immense motivation and energy to push myself more. Thankyou so much felu!!!! Keep up the good work man. Hope you reach millions and millions of people. Have a good day man:)
