Yu~mmy!! Honey walnut shrimp is one of my favorite Chinese dishes. I've always wondered how to get the super crispy batter, definitely gotta try your recipe out. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, please add more chinese food take out. I love to cook and am also concerned with the quality of meat and fish. Your dish looks fabulous! Thank you for sharing!
I love these recipes!! Keep making more!!! I am like you- hate takeout / delivery Chinese food. Problem is I don't know a lot of at-home easy Chinese recipes. This looks amazing and I will be making for my fiancé soon!! Thanks again for the video and keep making more! 🍤
Amazing recipe. I made it for the folks tonight, and better than take out. Next time, I'll get the deep fryer out. This worked well with cooked shrimp.
WOWWWWWWWWWWWW yeah I've made this quite a few times lol but I've never tried using egg whites whipped with the corn starch lol I usually just dip in white n coat so Deff trying it that way hun!!!!! AWESOME❤❤❤💜💜💜💛💛💛💚💚💚💙💙💙
Thanks to your video I went by Panda Express and asked what they used on their Honey Walnut Shrimp. I am Gluten Intolerant and was scared to try the shrimp. I found out they use the corn starch and that it's safe for me. Now when my husband wants to go Panda Express I can join him for a meal. Thank you!!!

Cooking failure :( hi I love your recipie but somehow my walnuts ended up burning to black crisps. I used brown sugar instead of white sugar to caramelize the walnuts. And then I started to fry them in vegetable oil. It turned black really fast and then melted. Do you know what the problem was? Thanks!
It's important to use white sugar and not substitute brown sugar for this recipe. Because brown sugar is already dark in the pan, it's hard to tell when it's burning, whereas with white sugar you would definitely detect beforehand that it was starting to burn. Also, do you have a thermometer for your oil?
Yes!! Kudos to you for recognizing the place. We only moved away because the construction outside was so horrible, but they've mostly finished now and we really missed the place. So we moved back, haha.
LOL! No, this is how I've done RU-vid videos for 4 of the 5 years I've been on here. My last kitchen didn't allow this shooting style but I've changed back. And this isn't a new apartment...it's the same one I was in a year ago.
