HI Teleport! I always use Octane to render these and because not everyone has access to the plugin, I don't always go through the process (as it's often the same steps each time). If you want to see exactly how I've done the lighting and texturing, all the final render ready project files (which include all the lighting, materials and render settings) can be downloaded from our website: cgshortcuts.com/product/honey/ or our Patreon page: www.patreon.com/cgshortcuts . We also have an in-depth course about lighting, texturing and rendering here cgshortcuts.com/product/the-ultimate-octane-masterclass/ ;) Thanks for watching!
Ive been trying to simulate ssomething similar forever for example toppings but for some reason if I use a generator I can get it to stick on the outside and inside but sometimes the particles disappear and reappear randomly
I agree the Houdini indie price is amazing but Houdini takes a lot more time to learn than X Particles. Like, way way way more. Some C4D users just wanna do some cool particle stuff. I do wish XP and C4D were cheaper though. And I wish Maxon didn't scrap Houdini Engine for C4D.
