Our 5th day of our honeymoon on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas was a blast. We sailed to the beautiful island of St. Maarten 🇻🇮where we experienced an excursion of a life time: SeaTrek 🐠! St. Maarten is so beautiful! From the clear waters to the scenery! We first step off the Allure of the Seas and go shopping in the tourist town center. After buying a few items we head back to the Allure of the Seas and change and prepare for our SeaTrek excursion!
We take a sea taxi to our SeaTrek excursion. SeaTrek as you will see is a underwater excursion which allows you to walk on the sea floor and dwell amongst the fish which inhabit the area. The total SeaTrek underwater experience lasted 30 minutes. SeaTrek does not require you to know how to swim and to the ladies: no your hair will not get wet! The air pressure is pushing the water out of your SeaTrek helmet.
If you go somewhere and SeaTrek is an available excursion make sure to check it out! You will not be let down!

Love to see young couples experiencing life together. We actually did this in 2006 with the kids but, it was called "BOB" ( breathing observation bubble). Continue to make memories and may God continue to bless you guys and your family!

Yes, it was so much fun!! Yeah, we were concerned about that part - but the helmet basically weighs you down and enables the ability to freely walk on the ocean floor! So cool!! Thanks! The dress is from Ross!!

My husband and I have cruised both Royal Caribbean and Carnival. Carnival is definitely the “fun” ship. Although nice Royal Caribbean is a bit stuffy for our liking.

Oh wowww! My husband would totally love this excursion. I can't swim and I'd be freaked out. I'm so glad to know this is an option. Definitely on my bucket list now!!!

I did the Helmet dive in St Thomas in 08 ,I remember it like it was yesterday, 1 of the best excursions I've done, I enjoy your vlogs, keep it up

'good to know that you don't have to know how to swim because i cant swim which eliminates a good amount of activities when i cruise and this looks really fun and i definitely want to try this out . Im actually looking to book on Royal for my next cruise

It was sooo cool! There was one lady who changed her mind right at the last minute. Her significant other had already went down the ladder, and was waiting for her the entire time. We felt bad, so we tried to talk her into doing it - but it was to no avail.

Just saw your video on sea trek. Going to use it to try to convince some of my fellow travelers to go in October! The biggest objection currently is that the helmet is heavy. it doesn't look like it was too heavy for Jamilah and she seemed to be able to move pretty well. I'm guessing its heavy enough to keep you down but not so heavy its uncomfortable. Any info you could share would be great! Great video - informative and entertaining.

Thanks for watching! The helmet is heavy when above water but feels weightless under water. The helmet is heavy but as seen in the video the conductors of the excursion did not place the helmet on until we were almost entirely in the water. In other words: we did not experience heaviness of the helmet for long time nor was it unbearable. The excursion was really exciting and we recommend anyone to go if they have the opportunity! Good luck trying to convince them to go! 😀

How does the helmet work?! I would be afraid water would get in it. You all seem like you’re having a blast. I know this was a few years ago. I’m going in October! Finally! After we were canceled in 2020.

Have fun! The helmet has a constant air supply which not only supplies oxygen for you to breathe, but maintains enough air pressure to push the water out of the helmet. Really fun! Don't be scared. Totally safe! Thanks for watching.

You will have a lot of fun!!! You will have to equalize your ears a few times. Your instructor will tell you how to pop your ears before you take the ladder down. Thanks for watching and have fun!

How long in the water seatrek? any water get in your eyes?was it terribly expensive? EFFY is my favorite jeweler and i must visit Pandora when im there 2019 just left forsyth lol

30 minutes. No water in eyes. The helmets blocked out any water. There is constant oxygen being blown into the helmet. You just have to keep your head upright. The cost was between $150-200/per person - we can’t remember. Yes, Pandora is lovely!

Did you book your excursions through the cruise line or other?

We booked all of our excursions through Royal Caribbean! But, some people who cruise book excursions with local agencies. Most of the time local excursions are cheaper but if you book with the cruise line you are guaranteed the ship will wait on you incase you return late.

👍🏼This was a very nice video from start to finish. I love how Marcel recorded Jamilah in bed with a very nice PJs set on and not some revealing sexy lingerie. It don’t take all of that to show you’re married . It was good to see the island St.Maarten because we’re taking an eight day cruise there next year in May of 2020. That sea Trek excursion was mind blowing my two daughters and I went on that excursion last year in Grand Cayman . Like you said anyone going on a cruise you have to asked if one of the islands offer that excursion. You are literally walking on the ground of the ocean. And please tell me the song you were playing at the beginning of the video. Very good video ❤️ it,!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍👍👍

The damage to St. Maarten was evident. We are glad the tourist areas were open as it is a big source of revenue for the country. St. Maarten is a beautiful island and we hope they recover quickly! Thanks for watching!
