Honeymoon in Brighton - UK Vlog

I had my honeymoon there 52 years ago. We had bought a maisonette so had very little money and did 3 days b & b in a pretty run down hotel but loved it. Husband died 21 years ago but Brighton still holds a special place in my heart

I've been to Brighton four times and on my first visit I went to the Choccywoccydoodah shop. There's also one in the Carnaby Street area of London.

I went travelling around Europe last year and Brighton actually turned out to be my favourite place! So far it's up there with my favourite places in the world! Hope you guys enjoyed it! x

I grew up in Brighton, the seagulls are fearless! Same in all coastal towns they will go for your chips and ice cream 😂

I’ve been on that haunted train ride back in 2014. There was one ride where the cart of my friends behind me had their strap/seatbelt came off!! Talk about scary. Also I got some bad sunburn from Brighton too!! Just spent the day there while studying abroad in college.

Oh god I live in Brighton but I literally cried for you when you ran onto the beach because that exact part is technically the nudist beach (that's why there was nobody there) 😂

Oh my gosh, someone should have told you about the seagulls in Brighton, they are famous for doing that!! You came right after the great 30 degrees heat wave, sorry guys! :))

Great Britain has many glorious, sandy beaches and Brighton isn't that great in my opinion, it's kinda scruffy. Head down to Dorset, Devon and Cornwall in the summer months and you'll see how beautiful England really is. My recommendations for places to see in the South West would be Corfe, Shaftsbury, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Weymouth and Chesil Beach in Dorset, Dartmouth, Blackpool Sands ( not the one in Lancashire), Salcombe, Clovelly, Dartmoor and Exford in Devon, Polperro, Fowey, Sennen Cove to Lands End, Bottalack, Zennor, St Ives, St Agnes, Perranporth, Polzeath, Tintagel and Boscastle in Cornwall. Now that would be an amazing road trip for you guys...

I had lived in Brighton and Hove at the age of 15 in the year of 1987. I stayed in Brighton for 1 month in July and it was always raining. My landlords were morg medical doctor woman and pharmacist doctor. The landlady was against my body wash for more than 7 minutes when I entered to the bathroom she immediately knocked the door of the bathroom and wanted me to get out immediately at the 6th minute. I had given 10 kilos of weight as I had been jogging on the 8 kms of beachside green pasture and played football with my friends and at nights danced at the Brighton discos after eating mainly fish and chips and franchise foods. I had visited Queens' summer Palace and got necessary information as well as visited Bornemouth, Portsmouth with my english language school friends with reserved buses. I was getting education in the baptist church during weekdays. My relative had come with his family to Norwich and studied first english language and then PhD in Agricultural Engineering at Norwich University in England for 5 years of education in total after he served in Brussels with his family as state employee in Brussels Belgium. I liked Brighton and Hove but never returned back as USA attracted me much more Europe and England in those days time. My school friend in my home country Dr. Sinan Sezer had become British citizen after he found a londoner girl who was from lithuania once upon time before and they are living in the brand new apartment near the Thames river in London England and he is banker financial analyst. We love england and way of lives as turkish citizens. If I could find british citizen nice and alluring girl to marry I would immediately come and live in England for sure and pay my and my spouse's medical insurances even in one of Yorkshire villages.

I spent some time in Australia early 1960s, we had Aussies training with us when I transferred to the Submarine Service and later got to know quite a few around the Earls Court area of London. Hearing them them now squealing "Cute!" and not the deep throated "She's a beaut mate" is like hearing finger nails down a blackboard.
