I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making these videos and sharing the information you have compiled. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to not only record yourself speaking but to go back and edit, look up scientific names and other helpful information, and to find and add photos. It's all greatly appreciated!

I recently used honeysuckle flower tincture that I made for my kid who woke up with a stuffy nose and sore throat. All she needed was 1ml 3x for 1 day and she woke up renewed the next day. Love honeysuckle 💚

@linda51464 2 года назад
@@countrygalinthecity I thought I'd share with you that I have a honeysuckle tincture in the making. I put fresh honeysuckle flowers and buds in a mason jar to 3/4 full and filled the jar the rest of the way with 100% vodka. I store it in a cool, dark place (my cupboard) and shake it once a day (when I remember). After 8 weeks I'll strain it, fill an amber dropper bottle for use and store the rest in my cupboard until needed. Blessings in your journey.

Just an FYI for those interested in growing native plants: there's a honeysuckle variety that's native to the US - Lonicera sempervirens, also called crimson honeysuckle. Nothing against the non-native varieties, but just thought I'd offer the additional info in case anyone has a preference.

I am with you. One resource is never enough. I like to check more than one resource. I noticed some of the channels have people that know enough, but not completely, and some people can get hurt from their information. What I love about your channel is that you give us a breakdown, but also share the resources or books, and to top it all your years of experience. Herbs and plants are medicine, which is so beautiful, but you need to do your homework on how it will work with you as an individual. Thank you for sharing.

I bought a Japanese honeysuckle last week The tag shows yellow blooms and I didn't notice this till I got home but it also says "not for human or animal consumption".
