Absolutely fine presentation and vocals! BTW, if i heard you say this is an invasive plant, only the japanese lonicera honeysuckle variety is invasive. The European and American Lonicera scentsations variety is not invasive. I have this plant in ground and it has grown a maximum of 10 feet in height and i trim it back, it becomes a healthy bush. A must have in front of the house, for its amazing fragrance to welcome your visitors with an awesome fragrant smelly treat.
Your voice and narration is so soothing that I think you if you would talk to your plants every day they do not need compost to flourish. Thank you for another sweet and short video.
We have a little Praying Mantis that I found likes Honeysuckle I pull the stem out form the flower and it likes the nectar from it. I need to make the next video of that for sure. THANKS for your inspiration. WE have this growing wild in my Rose bush hedge it so aromatic I have not the heart to remove it but it will take over everything in time.
Lovely I was waiting exactly for this repotting my honey suckel plant thanks so much for the video praying it works the same for me with loads and loads of flowers 🙏
Ahhhh, another nice, helpful, well presented video from the garden of USB !! I'm already an ardent fan 😊 Very curious to know WHO punched a thumbs down, and WHY ! Or may be just as well, else we might have a swollen-headed USB on our screens soon 😀 Just kidding !! Question : what flowering creeper wd you recommend for all 12 months ? I live in Delhi.
Haha I hope it wasn't u Anila😂 but thumbs down button like u said will keep us grounded which is so important...for your weather u can choose pyrostegia Venusta Jasmine climbing roses etc but if u want blooming all the year then Mandevilla
Nice video. Thanks a lot. I have 2 questions. 1) I got the same color honeysuckle plant last week. Does it grow well with just 2-3 hrs of direct sun? I have a north facing balcony, so after 11.30 am, there won't be any direct sun at the spot where I have placed this plant right now. Any advice? 2) Also, there is another spot where direct sun shines till evening, but it is near the staircase. Can the plant climb in the downwards direction? coz I am thinking of using the staircase railing as support.
Wow....can you please explain how to propogate honeysuckle? I have lonicera etrusca. I have planted it in the ground in Feb and it flowered recently in pink and white.
On my balcony, I have had this plant with me for the last two years. The plant was growing and climbing but I hadn't seen any flowers on this. Recently I repotted it and cut its roots, also pruning its branches as my friend's advice for getting flower fast. Seeking your advice.
I bought the same vine yesterday from nursery. It's in black plastic pot. Can it be shifted to some other bigger pot in the month of November in Delhi.
As usual your voice is very ear pleasing sir. bdw, would like to know where did you got this honeysuckle plant? Sir ,could you please inform /or send link where in Bangalore can we get Online plants and seasonal winter seeds of good quality that can be delivered to home. Any plant nursery who are availing this facility latetly? Due to covid ,i am not willing to go out to any local nursery but I am craving to bring some plants as before.
@@Urbanscapegardening If you are using hanging baskets, you could plant some alyssum. It hangs down 2 or 3 feet, has a nice scent with thousands of tiny white beautiful flowers. They call it a carpet of snow. It really is beautiful and very full. The best part is it's only $1.50 for a full box at the Dollar General store!! They say it contains at least 5000 seeds, but it looks like there's more, so you have a lot to plant anywhere you like. You will love it!!! I've been growing mine for 3 years now.
Sure USB,will add it to my long list.Actually looking for creepers especially ones which gave fragrance to climb on 5o d Gazebo.thanx for d lovely video.
@@Urbanscapegardening Ohh..! That's why I was confused because that creeper is known as Madhumalti in our area.. Anyway, thank you so much for letting me know about Madhumati.. I'm thrilled to anticipate when I'll be able to get and grow this one.. Truly, you are an ardent gardener.. Too much comprehensive, so erudite about tit-bits of various plants' varieties.. yet so humble and austere in your gardening spirit..

Hi. Urgent ! My honeysuckle leaves are becoming dark brown from the tips, sides and many are crisp dry . I have even used neem oil on it and am taking care of watering and am using a moisture meter to water when it almost reaches dry state. Also i have kept it in full sun What do I do ???????
@@Urbanscapegardening oh. I just used hamla 550 pesticide . Hope it doesnt cause any harm. Initially it was on a side where it got sun till 12 noon and after reading online i kept it in full sun. Even then it had this issue of leaves randomely turning a dark brown n some drying out. U think it is an underwatering issue?
