FYI - If your Honeywell is older than this one (no light) and only has a push button on door of the filter then push that button when the "furnace is ON" and you hear snapping then it is working. If not the same fix as Frank used applies.

What does it mean when you have a clicking noise in the system and the light flickers is this those contacts

I was having the same problem. Both the light and clicking sound going non stop. I cleaned the contacts but it is still clicking sound and light flashing. Any ideas? Thank you

During normal operation does the amber led light goes off ? Or stays on all the time

Frank, I need your help.. I recently purchased a house and have the same Honeywell Electronic Air Cleaner you have there. Unfortunately for me, when the previous owners left they decided to take the filter located on the right side of the Air Cleaner so my system is not even functioning. I'm unable to find the model number for this air cleaner so I am unable to get the part number for the filter I need. With the measurements of the left filter, I had thought the right filter would be the same as the left filter so I purchased 2 new pre filters. When the parts came in, I replaced the left side but as I placed the right filter in it was shorter than the filter I need. Please help with a model number for the electionic air cleaner and possible the part number for the filter on the right side along with size of filter. An photo would be great or an updated video would be even better. Your help is very much appreciated and thanks in advance.

Frank, I hope you can help me! I have been using these air cleaners for 20 years with no issues. I have a new variable speed, DC air handler. it ramps up at a very low fan speed and does not energize the air cleaner until the fan ramps up to a higher speed. How do I get my air cleaner to turn on when the fan is running at a lower speed? Please help! Thanks.
