You probably found your answer, but it's most likely because you need to address a concern. You probably have a "message" or two that you need to resolve, like date/ time, or wifi. If wifi and you don't know how to set it up, just go through the arrows that basically say you don't want it, and hit "done". Then your red light will go off.
I've been trying to turn it off....period ...for about a week can't figure it out...I don't want a fan... nothing,. I don't want to set anything in advance...I don't know why anyone would want this crap...the fact that there are RU-vid videos to learn how to work this nightmare prove its unnessarrily complicated...on- off, hot- cold are are all that a reasonable person needs...sorry rant over
Ha...if it'll work I'll take any help I can get, I just put my life savings into a newer house, having just moved out of a basic rowhouse in South Philly. Not once have I ever had a problem with a thermostat, turn it on, set the temp, change when you want, why complicate it?
