I'm only a year late in seeing Downsizing, and I liked it. Hong made the movie what it was. Matt, and Christoph are great in it, but she steals the show.
i dont get the bad reviews... i thought it was adorable and full of heart. And Hong Chau deserves an Oscar... I fell in love with her character before Matt Damon's character did
Those stories in the movie were 99% right so depressing, but it’s real, made me think about the earth 🌏 more and how we are destroying everything nice on it 😫😢💔💔
My wife (she’s Thai, Cajun and Scandinavian!!!) and I enjoyed watching this with her. My name is Paul, her mother sounds exactly like the way she talked in the movie
Wow. She seems amazing and sweet. Apparently, we grew up a few miles and a lake apart. There's an oriental rich area in Chalmette- New Orleans East, I think that's the area she's referring. If so, there's alot of movie filming that happens at the NASA Michoud Assembly Center with its huge hangers. Interesting.
She should have won the AA for her portrayal. It was only because the movie wasn't successful and few people saw it that she didn't. No one could have seen her in that role and not been blown away.
Playing a character with so many disadvantages but all she wanted to do was help people before she helped herself....the exact opposite of trump like people.
