the Elsa croissant: When I was in Paris last year there were croissants with raspberry, pistachio, etc and they had that thick glaze on top. I didn't like it. The crispiness and butteriness of the croissant was gone and it was just dough with too much icing and a sticky, sweet pistachio filling. So, I 100% feel you.
I find the food at Hong Kong Disneyland very similar to Disneyland Paris. Some excellent options available but not everything is to this standard. My favourite snack can be found in the World of Frozen and is the Celebration cake which is a very good carrot cake.
