Markets are more than just shops on the street. They are a window to the vibrant tapestries that weave together the rich diversity, uniqueness, and culture. And I’m back reporting from the King of Markets that is HONG KONG!! So join me as we dive headfirst into a whirlwind of excitement and uncover the secrets!!🤩
From the BIRD market where old men chat with tiny birds, teaching them new songs and taking them on leisurely strolls; to the FORTUNE TELLERS Market, where locals eagerly line up for tarot card reading, palmistry, and Chinese astrology. When I say its CRAZY I mean it!
Some other crazy markets are SEX TOY Street where pleasure is right around the corner;
LADIES Market which has EVERYTHING for women;
FLOWER Market which is beautiful and super fragrant;
CAT Street where you can unearth hidden treasures like pocket watches, old movie posters, and fascinating Chinese relics;
SNEAKERS Street where you get limited edition originals from every possible sneaker brand at MASSIVELY discounted prices; and
WET Market where everything was so fresh that a lot of it was actually still ALIVE!😟
As I explored, I realised that while I may not personally agree with some of them, we should learn to embrace the fascinating traditions and customs, leaving judgment behind and simply OBSERVING.
