Congratulations for Hong Kong! They won by 14 men for almost all of the game. Incredible! Korea was also playing very well! But commentators’ neutrality was so bad.

I can't see Rugby ever growing in Korea until at least Koreans become better educated about other sports. As in non American sports that much of the rest of the world plays. Most Koreans think rugby is "American football" ugh .... But at least their team is actually Korean. That Hong Kong team is ridiculous. Are there any ethnic Chinese on it? It looks like an entirely ex pat or mercenary team.

Rugby is hardly international. But yes, rugby is nowhere near the popularity of football (soccer) and baseball in South Korea.

@@dannnsss8034 actually rugby is international. What you mean is it isn't global (at least not yet. It's the fastest growing team sport in Africa and the US). It's certainly international. Played widely in Europe, Africa, and Oceania, and parts of South America, and Asia. The rugby world cup is the most widely watched sports event after the FIFA world Cup and Summer Olympics. And it's in the Olympics. A sport has to be international to be in the Olympics. American football isn't international at all. It's played by no one except one country and isn't in the Olympics and has no world cup. Yet Koreans know what that is. So your excuse is 100% bull💩. Obviously there is no comparison to football ⚽. That's the world's most popular sport. And by far the most global. But guess what? Cricket 🏏 is the 2nd most watched sports in the world and the Indian premier league is one of the three richest and most watched sports leagues in the world. Koreans equally don't know what Cricket is. Cricket 🏏 is played and watched by far more people, and countries than baseball. it's not even close. So again.....not sure I understand your excuse. I reiterate my point. Koreans need to first learn about popular non American sports (Koreans generally think America= the world) that much of the rest of the world plays and watches before there is any hope of them getting anywhere in them.
