I swear the only hate for HSR either comes from - people who hate gachas in general or... - people who prefer other gacha games but are very vocal about it for the sake of a) attention and b) to get a hate bandwagon going. Same can be said for most gachas actually. It's always "compare this" and "its not as good as that". Just stfu and play what you wanna play. Seeing people compare games and arguing on the superiority of one or the other makes my brain rot
@@WeebV4 You heard him. It is an amazing game both as a gacha game how relatively nice it is to obtain gacha content and as a game the story is pretty sick ngl.
"TrY nOt To QuIt WhEn YoU gEt To ThE xIaN zHoU" yeah yeah as if it's not the 2nd coolest region after penacony with amesome story, lore and characters, where stellaron hunters play a big role(Kafka including), and a lot of cool characters have theit story revealed (Dan Heng 2.0) 🤡 Also xianzhou is not long AT ALL, it should have got a lot more story time. Fortunately, we are going back in the next few patches. What is really long is penacony itself(good for us though)
I think I can kinda understand, I was a bit reluctant about playing the game, but two of my friends were quite literally begging me to try it and I'm glad I did The community probably leaves a pretty bad look at the game depending how toxic they are For example, it's impossible for me to have an proper opinion about Genshin since I've never played it, but I feel hesitant to try it because of the community, plus everyone saying the rewards are bad and yada yada
I play both and i would recommend you to try it if you really want. The rewards are really better in hsr yet it doesn't matter that much, except you want every single character then it's annoying 😅 but if you want to try out you can always quit if you don't like it
I really appreciate it when people actually try games they disliked before. If you still don't like it afterwards, okay. If you actually like it, even better. But not judging a book by its cover is always better
Please at least beat the belobog story line. Its the snow planet after you finish up on the space station. It has what is arguably some of the best music I've seen in gaming in the past decade.
Hm. They will feed you enough lore that as long as you pay attention to what you're being outright told you'll have some clue where you're going and why. If you want some idea what's really going on, who all the players are, and what their motivations and goals are... you're going to have to scrounge pretty hard. Actually, even harder than in Genshin Impact: if you were to call them jigsaw puzzles, Genshin Impact would have ten thousand pieces, they'd be hidden all over the house, and you'd eventually realize a hundred or so of them exist yet are entirely invisible, while Star Rail would be a thousand piece jigsaw puzzle that's already mostly assembled... except there are absolutely no edge or corner pieces, all pieces have pictures on both sides, you can only view it at a distance in a very dark room while wearing sunglasses, and it's very likely whoever assembled it purposefully chose to mess up the process and they had a craft knife and superglue handy.
23:02 turn mechanics are extremely fun fs esp if you get Welt or if March has good effect hit rate so her ult freezes regularly you can use their crowd control ults to prevent enemy turns and interrupt attacks
I feel like if you haven’t been completely sold on this game’s quality yet, you’ll definitely be sold on it by the end of the next place you go after the space station. Won’t say what happens there, cuz I detest spoilers, but trust me when I say it is amazing.
i would love to see you play more of this, its so fun to watch people new to games i love play them, and hsr is definately one of the most fun ones for that imo. i cant wait for you to see some of the more crazy scenes this game has to offer

just proof that you can’t really have honkai star rail hater’s and that anyone who says they are a hater is just some poser that refuses to even try the game because they know if they do play the game they will like it and find that it’s actually a pretty solid game i am just glad that star rail exists because it came at a time when i was down and honestly getting depressed that there were no new half decent games that had been released for years just more battle royal cràp then star rail released and instantly reignited my passion for gaming
Im totally with u on that, sadly era of great MMOs is kind of over for me, but that void was so hard to fill, Im glad that HSR appeared and got my full-time attention from day 1. I feel the passion and love of developers for the 1st time in my life! Actually its the first time when a f2p game made me WANT to spend some to appreciate all the hard work of devs! Also traveling across the vast cosmos and discovering stories of planets is such a great idea with endless possibilities!
@@marinal8214 i am just worried about the future of gaming even though star rail is still relatively new in terms of games one day star rails story will end just like genshin impact and who knows what will come after and more closely destiny 2 a game series i have been playing since my mid teens on xbox 360 is possible coming to the ending of its story and this upcoming dlc release might just be it’s last and that is gonna leave a void so massive i don’t think i could ever hope to fill it with another game

@@WeebV4 make the game sound lower and use original music and ur mic louder, most important YOU need it for immersion, especially for Boss fights... I regreted a lot that I did the same mistake as u... Trust in the power of HSR music :D Also any plans for character trailers reaction?
17:57 breaking a boss or elite toughness gives her 3 stacks at once (in case it becomes relevant again). and you def want to use skills when weakness broken because enemies take more damage in that state

Yeah the audio being scuffed was a mistake but I think I solved it. I’m keeping my music tho. I did not get Acheron unfortunately and I finished recording tonight so you can expect a new vid soon
