Honor 90 Review: I Love This In-Hand Feel 

I bought one this week and it is awesome! Fully packed with features and runs smoothly all day.

I bought this phone with silver white colour and it comes with 12gb ram and 512gb storage with extra free honor 2 lite earbuds , free honor case ( not silicone transparent tpu case that also included inside the box) and + 6 special warranty. here's my conclusion Pros: 1. The Pwm dimming seriously reduce my eye strain and dizziness ( i came from samsung s21+ user). The highest pwm dimming in any smartphone currently. 2. The screen to body ratio is amazing and u will feel an immersive feeling screen, i understand some people prefer flat screen rather than curved edges, but this one doesn't feel like those curved display. 3. Battery Is Excellent 5000Mah lasted me 2 days of medium usage unless you are playing mobile games 24h. 4. Camera is Excellent and i enjoyed using it more than my s21+. 5. Oh and the Display Amoled was just stunning with 6.7 inches, 108.9 cm2 (~90.8% screen-to-body ratio) Resolution: 1200 x 2664 pixels (~435 ppi density) that's great. 6. And the speaker quality, i understand its a single speaker rather than stereo, but i found out the audio quality is very loud and good, doesn't feel cheap at all. 7. Lastly the design quality and feel this is the best so far speaking from my hands size point of view.. no sharp edges under my thumbs when texting. Cons: 1. No ip rating a splash of water is fine but not on a super heavy rain condition 2. Chipset could be better but for daily use and gaming it is fine but don't expect 60hz + on ultra setting on genshin impact but mobile legends is fine with ultra setting Conclusion of all these: 1. Buy it if you like minimalist light body 2. Buy it if you like to take care of your eyes and viewing health and i do recommend this phone 3. Buy it if you like High end features and premium phone but with moderate budget 4. Buy it if you like to view content on any platform such as youtube/twitch etc 5. Buy it if you like photography Not the best like iphone 14 pro max but it is excellent for my eyes 6. Avoid this phone if stereo speaker is what you wanted for 7. Avoid this phone if you want wireless charging 8. Avoid this phone if you want certified IP rated phone Thanks i hope this help on making your choice

A beautiful midrange offering from Honor! The camera setup here totally punches above its weight! It really puts Xiaomi to shame! Thier flagships are barley offering in terms of camera performance what the 90 is doing here! My only gripe is the lack of stereo setup here. Appreciate the review Ben, ✌👍. Thank you.

I used to own an HONOR 4X back in 2015, and it was a great product. And later on, I was still a Huawei fan.

The best review of the Honor 90 cameras. The thin, 183 grams, very good main/selfie, 4k 30 front, 2x zoom and excellent fast-charging makes this a no brainer.

The back of the HONOR 90, especially the Diamond Silver and Glossy Black do attract fingerprints, and they’re especially noticeable on the black variant. I was at the MEA launch for the HONOR 90 and one of the most common comments from people there was how much of a fingerprint magnet the phones are (with the exception of the Emerald Green variant which has a textured, not glossy, back).

I bought this phone for 349 GBP (12 GB RAM / 512 GB storage) on a Black Friday deal, if I'd kept up with email vouchers I could have bought it for 329 GBP ! This puts it into a quite different price category than any Pixel 7a or Samsung a54 comparison ... And as such blows socks of any competition !

The Honor 90 costs 549 euro for the 8GB/256GB model and 599 euro for the 12GB/512GB model

They need to work on update policy too . The Honor 9x(Kirin 810) I bought in 2019 ,came with EMUI 9.1 ,and till date didn't received any android update. Similarly ,The Magic series had delayed updates as compared to same priced phones.

Well 400-500 dollars phones these are so confusing there's alot options to pick. But this might be on tough spot to other phones on the market lacking a stereo speaker kinda a big deal for me, also Honor Android skin is so tough to use as you say if you want to go to the app settings you need to do a 3-5 steps. But i think this might have a okay spot if you like to vlogging because the selfie can record up to 4k. ❤

Hi Ben. How ya doin'? I'm lookin' for a phone with camera that takes clean shots photos or videos. Like the reno 4 that you reviewed. Any good phones to recommend? If there's mosquito netting in front of my camera and an object further away, my flagship phones will not be able to capture the objects behind the net but instead it keeps on focusing on the net. Flaw of many super sensing cameras.

Hi Ben Is it a 35 or 45 min full charge?

I have this phone now, first impressions it looks nice and slick, bit disappointed to find it does not ship with a wall charger (UK) but has the 6amp charging cable which is a bit weird, I have never bought a phone that had the wall charger missing. The cameras look attractive but in reality are a bit lacking and not really high quality, the sound system being only one speaker sounds tinnie and dull, it does not have waterproof or dustproof . When scrolling it can be a bit jittery, the battery life is okay but overall if your not into high quality this is the phone for you.

Just a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and stereo speakers and Honor would have had a winner. But there as it stands, it's just another standard mid-range in the vast ocean of mid-ranges. 🙏🏽

Yeah, in the UK anyway when you compare it to the OnePlus Nord 3 which is gonna be 499 pounds and the pixel 7a which is 449 for half the storage I think its a great option. Better ultra wide cam than the OnePlus, so it's at least good value IMO. Just can't believe they didn't put stereo speakers in it! And I know OnePlus are offering 3 OS updates and have a more powerful processor, but the battery life should be better with the honor and performance should honestly be still pretty good, Snapdragon processors are usually much better supported than mediatek ones. One question, can the ultrawide film 4k videos? Should be able to as it's a 12mp, and that would be a huge selling point if all 3 cameras can do 4k video

The slim lightweight design is fantastic.There's just no reason to have a fat heavy phone flopping around in your pocket anymore.

A solid premium mid-range for the £500 range should definitely be on any shortlist, though the US anti-China regime means another phone they will miss out on. In the UK, the 12GB/512GB is £499 (including 20% VAT) but loads of discounts and discounted gifts. Versus the Pixel 7a and Galaxy A54, it is personal as to what is more critical spec-wise.

the multi cam recording is great my axon 30 ultra has it.... sadly any phone with it only does it in 1080p an it really doesnt look that good

If honor would have stayed in the market it was the best competitor from Android.
