Frankly I liked this laptop. Actually I personally liked the Honor as a brand. I am currently using my #Honor8X till Jan 2019 & still i am loving it. So Great job Honor. BTW Excellent video as usual Sir! 💜🧡 #chigz

Please help me understand why all laptop reviews mention gaming and take a lot of time talking about it. I know people buy laptops to play games on but I assume serious gamers would have the appropriate consoles for their hobbies.

I am almost about to hit the "Pay Now" on one of these due to the great review but I have just one question. I have seen that this carries a 256GB M.2 NVME SSD and wonder if this is upgradeable? I have not seen any comments on notes to say whether this is soldered like the ram is. Thanks!

Yes the M2 is removable, so you can upgrade it.

@@ChigzTech Received the laptop today and must say that this has to be the best bang for buck laptop in the market today! I own a Macbook Pro 15 2016 (for work) but this little laptop is going to be my daily/travel got to. Thumbs up on the review.

@@ChigzTech So just as a little update I have been very unlucky and the unit I have received has and obvious dead pixel issue. Retailer is being very efficient and will swap out to a new unit.

I know why you have only 20 fps in gta 5 . You have only 1gb of vram assigned to your vega 8 graphics as seen on 6:00 . If you would have assigned 2GB of ram to the vega 8 graphics you would have 6gb of ram usable and not 7gb ! the extra gb of ram for the vega 8 makes a big difference :)

Yes absolutely, the MagicBook is great for graphics, I have tested video editing up-to 4K 30 and it renders fine. I have also briefly tested AUTOCAD, Adobe Premier and Photoshop. All working nice and smooth. This AMD Ryzen 5 out-performs the Intel Core i5 3550 in Cinebench. Hope that helps.

I bought this Honor laptop and i like everything except how it's showing colors. I compared it with my phone and other laptop and colors look like they're washed out, red isn't even red on this laptop, it's so bright and look more like orange, i think it's not presenting colors so realistic

Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop with the i5 and GTX1050 is a better deal IMO. $600 USD and you can get them for $500 USD sometimes. The package where they bundle this with the Honor Magic Watch 2 for free is a hell of a deal tho.
