@@vipinnanhe Yup..but still in doubt to buy or not...the pricing is great no doubt..worried about size...and my main reason to by smartwatch is to export the .gpx activity or swimming etc to android app like runkeeper/strava etc via mobile app so not sure if Honor fitness app supports that..apart from that super watch for sure.

great review and quite detail. how much differents between this and honor magic watch 2? i dont see much differents other than durability and type of sports. Always I loved your smartwatch reviews. Huawei makes an awesome work with this smartwatch. OK, you can't download more applications but it has too many other features and of course a beautiful beautiful screen and a huge battery life. Really I love it. Please what are the differences between this and GT2 PRO

Great review Chigz. I bought this watch got a great price. I have it paired to my Poco f2 pro. There are 2 functions that are not available on the watch. OneHop Feature and the remote shutter. I did contact Honor and they advised it was due to the fact i was not using Huawei phone. It's not a deal changer just letting you know, maybe you can try on other phones see if you get same issue.

@@goranstoja Overall I love it, although it obviously has its limitations when it comes to apps and online fitness tracker integration. What bothers me a lot is that unlike the watch itself, the synchronized Huawei Health app often tracks way too many steps (like a 100k instead of 6000), and that the watch sometimes displays the same notification many times in a row. These bugs have been around for a long time, and Huawei knows about them, but at least in the case of the wrong step count, they simply don't seem to care. The watch itself is great though, despite the sleep tracking not always being perfectly accurate, which is a shortcoming that probably applies to any other brand and model, too. I love the watches sturdiness and the outstanding battery life. I wouldn't want to have a Ticwatch or any other smartwatch if it comes at the cost of having to recharge it every 3 days.

Congratulations This video was amazing buddy. I went for the Honor GS Pro. Only had it a week and battery is still booming with power. I never like to remove a watch while swimming etc.. I tested this in a hot bath while having a soak...... BRILLIANT.... No issues and no water going in. Highly recommend the Honor. This is my first ever smart watch and LOVE IT 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hopefully you can do a video on in-depth function of the navigation. Eg, track back, etc, and whether it supports the use of famous trail apps/offline map. I wonder if it does the turn-by-turn voice navigation using a third party app? If it does that this watch is perfect.

Well, its on the way. Thank You very much , all your reviews were very helpful. Was jumping with decision between ticwatch 3 pro (wear os Google support), Huawei gt2 pro(best looking watch in its price range imho) or Honor Gs pro ( that battery and 5atm , mil stad 810)... Guess GT 2 pro will have to wait for next year's black friday... And ticwatch 3 isn't water proof, seen few people saying that it died after taking a shower... Awsome reviews and very informative. KEEP IT UP CHIGZY and stay healthy, one morning walk at a time

Hi , AliExpress being AliExpress got that watch delivered today...so yeah wait time was long . From 27 November last year. I noticed I don't have one hop option and the remote shutter feature. Could you check does that still show on your one or you have to use Huawei phone for them to be available

Hi, top reviwe. Would like to ask One thing!??! When you are making a walk, or A running, the watch is silencie, or are always telling how good you are going, or telling you how much time are going at km....!? Because i have a Honor watch Magic 2 and it is always telling me the time for km, etc.. and i can t stop it..and i prefere that the watch is silence when i make a workout.... Regards.👍

i suppose so, actually i ordered this watch recently waiting to arrive..( black one) this will be my 1st smart watch ever...since i am a G-SHOCK fan...in terms of durability, design, shock proof, dependability..most specially the solar powered ones...i have been watching many reviews on this HONOR-GS PRO ..and seems its better than the SAMSUNG watch..based on comparison and battery life..as well...well ill see and how it goes as soon as i get it...basically based on reviews, way better than the samsung watch...more features that you can use....and or other smart watches...THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEWS..IT HELPS A LOT TO MAKE DECISIONS.....

Hi there, thanks for your nice review. Really thinking of buying this watch, switching from a Samsung Watch with poor battery life (1-2 days). I don't need all the bells and whistles, pay a lot and charge every night. Will only use it for the messages, so I don't need to check my phone all the time. Still waiting for the new Huawei Watch GT 2 PRO to come out in 2 weeks and will make my decision. The Honor will have the better battery life but the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro the better looks I think. Checked the Honor website and they are offering the watch in Germany now with a 50 Euro discount and an additional 10 Euro discount coupon for the next 2 weeks. 190 Euros for this watch is unbeatable. I have a couple of questions: 01) what will be the battery life on this Honor watch with the always on display activated ? 02) with the always on display activated, do you get an indication on the screen that you received a message ? 03) will you be reviewing the Huawei Watch GT 2 PRO too ? Is there like an app store where you can get watch faces, one hop, etc? I heard that the watchfaces is not there for the United States. I just got mine and it doesn't have one hop, the shutter thing, and watchfaces.

mine arrived today, with free earbuds. my first smartwatch, but has lots of stuff on there i have been missing. mostly the altimeter that is used to have on my suuntos, height here we go (when we can get to the alps again. my wrist is on the last 2 hole of the strap, everything working fine

No this watch has more collective workout modes and doesn't count reps for those kind of activities but other watches especially samsung watches suck at counting reps anyways

Hi, thanks for great review. Very impressive watch. Q: does this watch requires some additional app (apk) outside the Google Store to provide notifications (WhatsApp, Gmail and myMail) like Huawei GT 2 Pro ? I cannot install apk's outside of the official Google Store (my phone is locked by my company) and this is the only reason i cannot use Huawei GT 2 Pro. Additionally how would you rank this vs Galaxy Watch 3 (i can buy it for the same price as this Honor watch), i use Samsung phone Thanks.

I would have bought one of these but there is a known problem with the health app. It counts steps on the watch and phone so it doubles the count. There is no option to choose between sources. I tried a gt2 and a gt2 pro paired with a Hauwei phone and got the same thing so ended up sending them back. I'm currently evaluating a ticwatch pro 3 and an amazfit t rex pro which are both better in this respect.

I cannot find OneHop on my brand-new GS Pro, and I'm sure to have looked for it where it should be. Could that feature be activated only when paired to a compatible Huawei smartphone, or is it rather due to different versions depending on my country or region? I'd appreciate your comment on that, as I otherwise simply love this watch, and I was looking forward to that OneHop feature in order to transfer custom watchfaces.
