Honoring Military Kids: Celebrating Month of the Military Child 

April is the Month of the Military Child. In this video, Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid and Fort Belvoir Garrison Commander, COL Joseph Messina come together to recognize and celebrate the resilience and sacrifices of military-connected children during the Month of the Military Child. Let’s show our appreciation and gratitude to these remarkable young individuals who contribute so much to our community.
Remember to Purple Up! on April 17 to support military-connected youth by wearing purple, a symbol that combines the colors of all branches of the military. Let’s say “Thank You!” to these incredible kids!
