Personally, as a military kid there’s a bond between military kids that most kids don’t have. You can know a military kid for a month and be best friends because it happens so insanely fast

As a military kid I never see families like mine or people who are going through the same thing, this made me feel so seen. Thank you 🫶

This is exactly why my Mom moved to California and joined the Army National Guard. She didn’t want to travel a lot she just wanted to stay in one place. My Dad was in the Infantry but eventually joined the National Guard My Brother followed in Dad’s footsteps by joining the Infantry and at some point joined the National Guard while my Sister joined the Air Force. Last year my Brother brought his Vietnam Veteran Friend over for Thanksgiving and I heard he’s coming again tomorrow.

Navy brat moved 10 times from the age of 5 to 19. In military housing at least 2 or 3 familes are in each unit. Evently trying to make connection might not be worth it, if you know your going to move again. Civilians cant comprehend reajustment continuelly, but there is a advantage to getting this type of programming, i can cut ties and move when ever need be.

There are many ways to show Jesus that you love him, starting with being good to your family members or the people around you. If someone is lonely, show compassion and reach out. You never know if you're gonna be alone someday and you'd want someone to do the same for you.
