Great video, nice to see the Honwave going through a tidal race, not many videos online like this, I've got a simillar video on my channel going out from Exmouth on an incoming spring tide.
@@123boat So the rear was better then? I’ve watch a OZY guy and he gets a clear image working fine up to 38knots. I don’t want mine for fish I want to make sure I don’t run into ground.
@@raykeogh1972 The best place was strapped to the rear on the tube but a bit of a faf on my own. I’ve got it attached to my launching wheels which is fine but at speed it gives me a water spout but no big deal. You can still easily run aground even with a transducer. Just keep an eye on the chart plotter to make sure your not drifting into the shallows 😳
The floor is very stable as long as it’s the correct pressure. These sibs are great in my opinion. Don’t be tempted to get one with an alloy floor. A faf to put together and add to much weight to the boat..
We could have gone round this bit of rough sea but it’s a bit of fun testing out the sib and myself 😳😂 Yes I often follow a bigger boat for a smooth run
Yes it was worse than it looked but felt reasonably safe 😳 Just watched another video of a sib in slightly worse conditions . ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_bq9XLCZjhQ.html
@@theinflatableboatownersnet5684 I think the most worrying thing is being swamped by a following wave and watching all my gear float off. It won’t sink but there’s also a chance of capsize as well. I deliberately headed towards that tidal flow to see how the sib handled and myself too…
