Thanks for the video! Unfortunately these zinc phosphate solutions are not available here and all these DIY zinc phosphate home brews don't work. I tried it with zinc and phosphoric acid. You end up with a black surface that is not abrasion proof. With a zinc phosphate coating you should end up with a light grey colour like in your video anyway. So this alone shows that it doesn't work. All those hanky panky steps like throwing steel wool in the solution is absolutely BS. It's almost a scam by all those showing it. So don't waste money on DIY zinc phosphate ingredients. I'm now looking for a real zinc phosphate coat liquid or someone who can do it... So I'm sure that in those solutions is something that is not allowed in Germany to be handled by private slave citizens... What a fucking joke, really.

I am wondering why you don't tilt the container slightly to get the part sticking out into the solution?

Doesn't the phosphate coating prevent rust?

can you use evaporust to clean instead then go to oil step? mastercoat production is behind and unable to order at this time
