Chris Elkins cruising Hoofmaker at the Undertow. Hoofmaker starts with a very hard boulder problem into pumpy 5.12 climbing to the anchors. Though there seems to be good holds, it is very steep and long. Persistence is necessary. The anchors are guarded by an unnecessarily hard clip. You ask yourself "Where do I clip off of? No way." Chris dropped the anchors a few times before he sent. It was a total bummer. But that made the send a sugary sweet one, ticking Hoofmaker as his first 5.13a. Watch the video until the end to share the joy of seeing his hard work pay off. I'm really stoked for you Chris, You deserve this one. Cheers to many more 13s!
