Thanks for watching. I only had a digital copy previously. Glad I was finally able to get a physical copy and I definitely have to get that 3CD release.
This soundtrack is seared into my brain from childhood. I even love that 90s beat on banning back home? I think the track was. John Williams was feeling this movie and I love it.
Same. I can picture what it on Saturday afternoons in the 90s. Love the track Banning Back Home. It doesn’t feel like John Williams but worked so well.
I had no idea this release existed, and watching your video absolutely made me regret not keeping a closer eye on Mondo releases. That said, I would love to see a remastered release of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” I’ve been on the hunt for an original lately, and I think it could stand a special release version.
This is my FAVORITE movie *and* soundtrack of all time. My desert island movie and music. John Williams outdid himself. Another soundtrack I’d like to see an expanded or complete release of would be Back to the Future. I love the songs and the score from that one almost as much as Hook. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity!
My favorite movie of all time and soundtrack. This movie never gets old and the wife is a sweetheart for watching it with me, every year, on my birthday. The banquet is probably my favorite tune, it is so triumphant and has one of the best (no pun) hooks in the entire soundtrack.
Ah I like that tradition. It’s nice to have a significant other to join in. My wife also indulges me with watching things like this. Banquet scene is an excellent choice. Such a great expression of childhood Imagination on screen and through the music.
I'd LOVE a "Queen of the Damned" expanded edition that includes the original Jonathan Davis versions of the "Vampire Lestat" songs. The version we got on vinyl a couple years back is great (Coke bottle green w/etching) but I've always preferred the actual vocals used in the film over what we got on the OST release.
@@PopcornandVinyl I think I read somewhere that you can buy or stream them on one of the digital music providers too, but that's pretty far out of my wheelhouse lol.
