Nice review. I don’t the vinyl version but I have the deluxe CD that came in the 4K box set of the film. It’s a great soundtrack, one of my favourite Goldsmith scores with my favourite track being “The Mutant”.

best review yet! I think the sound of this score really defined the rest of his career. The intense strings and heavy synths feel like they took over all his 90s scores and he was always refashioning this feel with other ethnic elements (Congo, Mummy). While 'The Mutant" is amazing, I think 'Clever Girl' is my favourite track. It's the perfect Goldsmith action music to me.
Thanks! I hope to see other equally impressive releases in the future! Although with every label having delays I suspect a lot of releases will be bare bones for the next little while. Unless they double down on overall packaging and presentation to compensate.
