That sounds like my home pond in tn, I caught 84" in 45 minutes. By the way the "bluegill" I believe was a green sunfish:) And if you like the fishing chaos tournament you should look up the knuklhed tourny by KBF.

I’ve been finding a bunch of bed fish this last week. Idk if the super cool early spring has pushed the trend out a little but it’s been consistent in multiple ponds.
Man I live in north texas too and it seems like you’re having the same issues as me. Lately they seem to be finicky with the bite. I’ve been having to wait longer for my hook set than ever before during these past few weeks
You can use metal safety pin to hold your hooks too with a piece of tape you can label with a sharpie. Not as fancy as those hook holders but same idea. Wish they sold them separately!

Hopefully we all have had that same exact response as Tyler at :07 seconds into the video, where he sets the hook, other arms flails into the distance, rod bobbles in the hand, and in that exact moment you know it is f*ckin on baby !
My current pb for bass is 2.3 and no matter where I go I barely catch anything and I don’t know if I’m reeling my lures wrong or setting the hook wrong but I was wondering if you would consider making a video in the future about setting the hook depending on the lake/pond? Love the videos Tyler. I had an idea for a video and I'm not sure if you've already done one. I would love to see some techniques to get the hook out of a fish. I tend to have the darndest time sometimes getting that dang hook out of the fish's mouth. Whether it just be a regular hook set in the fish's upper lip or the fish practically swallowed the entire hook. What are some of the best/safest ways to get a hook out, both for you and for the fish? I figured there could be different techniques for different hooks/lures, and maybe even some tools I may not know about. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that idea out there. Thanks!
Maybe when your 100 ponds series is over you should switch to focusing a lot of energy on learning ONE pond thoroughly that you KNOA has double-digit bass in it and showing people your process of dialing in the locations and habits of the big fish and hunting a giant from the bank as the seasons change. This process more closely mirrors what bank anglers have to do to fit fishing into their lifestyle etc and it could be a great challenge and learning opportunity!
Trueeee. You can make more on videos but if the clip goes viral then the short will be worth much more by adding possibly subscribers or views to your totality of videos. Maybe post the clip in a couple months 👀

For some reason it seems like i always forget that bass love wood until ive been fishing for 4 straight hours with no bites and a flip my bait into some laydowns and i get 3 bass in a row 🤦
"As always I'll have the exact hook I'm using linked" and then you don't link the hook you talked about...at least you mentioned it. Also, " In this series I'm fishing 100 ponds for bass all around the country" - no, you're fishing ponds in TX. While I enjoy the content, statements like that are misleading or a lie.
Sorry, forgot to link that. Hard to remember everything when you edit about 7 videos a week! It’s in the video description now And I will be outside of Texas a lot more in the future. Please be understanding, that my wife and I just had a baby and I travel a ton for other jobs. It’s really hard to make 100 ponds filming happen far from home and my wife and kid
Yeah brother, just be more respectful just bc this is his job doesn’t mean he can leave his family for a month. Although I live in Indiana and I would like to see more content up in that area😃 anyway all I’m saying is just be more respectful and the world doesn’t revolve around you.
