Yup quarter panels are a bitch to fix properly. Need to cut them out and find a donor car for fresh sheet metal, or buy new metal if they still have those parts lying around for that old Corolla. That's not true. Ever driven an RC car before? A lot of people have the misconception that electric cars' gas pedals are like on off switches, but it's really like a dimmer switch. A potentiometer. Just like with a gas engine, the amount of power output depends on how much you're pushing in the accelerator pedal.

I always thought it was stupid for car people to dismiss electric cars, it's simply foolish.There's so much potential. Also imagine the possibility of 3d printing the shells or parts of the shell of old, classic, JDM cars like this, putting them together and hooking them up with electric motors.

Gear heads, also known as petrol heads. For a reason. Some of us prefer the organic feel and sounds of a gasoline engine. No matter how good electric cars get I just don't get excited by them.

EV's could possibly make drifting more accessible. Thick copper wire and consistent electrical work is generally easier to do than running fuel systems along with it. On top of that, dust and dirt isn't such a pain to deal with. Cooling systems are generally easier to do. Cummins is going to make battery modules like the BP35E and BM44E. We won't have to fuck around with Tesla/Apple style shit. Places like Cummins will make it as modular as a damn AA battery. That said, we're never going to stop using internal combustion engines. We're going to need a way to passively sequester carbon and pyrolysis fuel processes will be great for that. It's gonna take mankind 300 years to sequester it all. We're thinking there's near 50 years of latency in the CO2 effects as well, so the shitstorm is barely forming clouds.

Yeah, I'm all for the coexistence of the two, I just hope ICE cars don't completely die.

Well, the Hoon guys can be a bit "in your face" which could set a lot of people on the awkward side of things if they aren't used to it. I'm not exactly awkward, but I'd probably act like a doofus around them, as well. The dude was cool, though, and he has a badass car.

It was mentioned somewhere that this "awkward" guy was an engineer and the typical stigma of engineers is that they are bad at socializing with people. Because of this bad stigma, I thought it would be sort of informative to basically say "yep, yall are correct. Engineering universities have noticed this and are now trying to teach engineers to stop being awkward." Sort of goes with the video, b/c it was mentioned that he was an engineer
