Ken was more than just an amazing driver, but an amazing dad, husband, and friend to so many. The void in our hearts will only be filled with the memory's of his greatness. We love you KB43, RIP.
Right? Travis's video is just a car ad trying to recreate this energy. This is art. This is like a high budget car skate video. The car ad is just following a formula.
@@TheHoonigans u shud it was AWESOME 😜 fav part was him drivn under da Lowrider; like whaaaaa. He killd it! Nd Fast &Furious were only guud 4rm 1 two 3
Didn't find out about Ken's passing until a few hours ago, completely devastated and totally unexpected. Thank you for all of the memories Mr. Block. I didn't know him personally, but all of the memories I've had of watching the Hoonigans and Gymkhana drifts will never be forgotten. When I was a kid, I even had a mini RC model of his Fiesta which I sadly lost. Farewell to the one and only ... Ken Block
Rest in Peace Ken Block. It was you who got me into this side of the car world. This was the first video I ever saw of Ken's and was hooked right away. When playing racing games I always set cars up to slide because of him. Back in Horizon 3 he held a community comp Gymkhana for the Hoonigan Pack and was so proud to participate in that. Such a huge icon in the car world and respected. We'll miss you Ken. Hope to see you on te other side.
I'll remember the first time I saw this video my grandpa showed me this and ever since then I was a fan of Ken block and the skills he had what an amazing dude RIP
Tearing up watching the legend break the internet one of many times, every time I watch it feels like the first . You will forever live on in our hearts RIP KEN!!❤😢😢
To think the legend Ken block is no longer with us is a tragedy, I remember watching this video between classes freshman year and getting yelled at by a teacher to get to class. Still finished the video and got an awesome memory from it thanks Ken.
Me too, I remember younger me watching this and showing it to my dad saying look how cool this guy looks. His videos rly made me fall in love with motorsports, RIP Ken.
This is really what mustang owners think they look like driving down my street at 2 in the morning before flipping into the second story of a nursing home
@@devint5782 The only thing left from an original mustang were roof and doors i believe, literally everything else is custom made. This is a legit race car. ^^ They talk about it in some of the Hoonicorn vs the world drag race videos, if you wanna see for yourself. ;)
Yeah, on straight line he would've lost them, but grip is more preferable than drift, on tight LA corners they would just "Corner him" (No pun intended)
This is probably a full carbon fiber body with the only thing Mustang left in it are the styling and the tail lights, I wouldn't be bothered! Even Ford is in this thing 100%! It's all legit!
Thank you Ken. I never got motivated, never worked hard enough to get behind the wheel of something as powerful as you..... but I tell you I loved watching you. Every time I'm in my little fiesta, you inspire me. Rest well
They must be Australians. Car lovers have a really hard time in Australia, the laws are so strict if you go 2 kmph over the speed limit you get a $300 fine and 3 demerit points, if you get 12 demerit points you lose your licence for 6 months... That's equivalent to doing 61mph in a 60 zone, do that here and you're labeled a hoon and a criminal, get caught doing a burnout and they crush your car. So yeah, most non-car loving Australians hate "hoons" and think car racing of any kind is a sport for pedophiles and rapists who should be executed, every year we have protesters trying to shut down the Melbourne Grand Prix, it's fucking pathetic.
+Dot MP4 go to Montreal Quebec Canada and that's pretty much the same. they literally look for any small little thing to write you a ticket for. Like almost 2 years ago a guy went over from Ottawa Ontario Canada to Montreal, half way to his destination or something he gets pulled over. the cops looked all around the car and in Quebec they have a rule that if your car has air ride suspension the system needs to be fully filled or some stupid shit and he had it almost rubbing against the ground (but not touching) so they ticketed him, called a tow truck and had the tow bring him all the way back to Ottawa and it obviously had to be paid out of his own pocket. they went through so much trouble just to do that. and i understand rules are rules but theres a point where it is harmless and theres a point that if it was touching id be like well that's excessive of the driver but he wasnt doing nothing wrong really. anyways im surprised your laws are so strict. i know the cars that do the burnout contests arent road legal in general but i thought the general Australian community would love a bit of fun on the streets as long as it doesnt legitimately put someone's life in danger.
This was the first video I saw of Ken when I was a 15. I remember how this video changed my whole perspective on the car scene and how badass this guy was! It’s unbearable to see him gone now but may you rip legend❤
Had to come back and rewatch the first video I saw of the legend himself ken block. A massive inspiration to the entire car community and an icon. Rip ken, we all love you and deeply miss you
After watching the latest gymkhana, I still think that low rider sequence is one of the most impressive things done in the series.. the precision in timing that right and knowing when not to commit to it is insane. Mess that up once, good luck finding another car to do it with 😂
California won't allow you to put Longtube Headers on your car, but they will shut down half the roads in L.A. for Ken Block to shred rubber in a custom Mustang lol.
Ken Block pays the California police to keep traffic out of his way & to protect him. Besides Ken Block is loaded. Think of it this way it's a police escort only the police are keeping others out of Ken Blocks way !
I know but I shouldn't have to be loaded or own a pre 1974 or whatever year it is that exempts a car from the smog laws. Or use the car on a dragstrip or track only.
Well , because I just really want to know what it really does , lol ... I have checked this video + read about Hoonicorn on Speedhunters , but gets no answer .
The red button disengages the front wheel drive system, allowing the car to drift at such angles. It reengages power to all the wheel as he lets go, maintaining traction on the exit of the drift.
