If Brad and the 1st gen Hoonigan crew knew how many people they helped find a trade or a hobby it would be overwhelming. I legit became a tig welder because of the early Hoonigan crew and episodes.
Brad you were part of my childhood at this point. I’m 23 now but back in the glory days of daily transmission I wanna say I was 17-18 and those videos left an imprint on my person that I will hold with me for a lifetime. Hope you’re doing well bad daddy! ❤
Love seeing the one dude I expected to have the worst memory be spot on with his reminiscing. Always one of the most entertaining crew members at Hoonigan. A true OG.
I loved hoonigan videos because of the people like you. I don’t even watch their vidoes anymore(rarly) because it’s not the same. It’s so different. The banter is forced. The comradery isn’t there. Like…Ken died…that hurt..I never met the guy, but he was my drifting idol!! I grew up watching his vidoes. Then I fell in love with hoonigan and DT and the barnyard. I miss the loading dock and the crazy videos that were filmed there. Trophy trucks. Literally everything gnarly. After Ken died, and hoonigan changed, I literally feel like a part of my heart is broken. Like I have tears in my eyes typing this….I miss the old days…thanks for sharing buddy. I subscribed as I hope it will bring some semblance of the old days at hoonigan. You sound just like me man. Just wanting to do burnouts. I love burnouts. Stay safe brother. Love the cars!!! Remember. Jesus loves you 💪💪💪
Hoonigan back then was a life saver for me. You boys reignited my passion for cars and building fun stuff with the homies.. and tearing shit up! While nothing will compare to those days, id love to see any content you make. You made just as much of an impression on me as any of the other guys. Glad all is well!
Your first appearance on dt is still one of the best Hoonigan RU-vid videos I’ve seen along with Gary Kings first appearance when he was Hert 2029 and went super saiyan 😂
I started racing at irwindale in 2005 with a 64 falcon. Even then they were sticklers about safety. Did the army thing from 2010 until 2018 and when I brought the exact same car back to literally knock the dust off it, it was all the same people running the tech line. It was neat to be able to spend one more Thursday test n tune with the same car like I was a kid again. Left California shortly after that and don’t think I’ll ever be back but having that one last experience at irwindale was the breath of not so fresh air I needed after the army. You can hate irwindale all you want, but one day it will actually be gone for good and a memory is all it will be. Rip that track while you can for those of us who can’t.
The man the myth the legend is back!!!! Lets go brad!!!!!! 11.49 1/4 is where safety things change for everything, unless vehicle is newer than 2005 and then changes a again with newer vehicles.
I’m glad that you are doing your own thing and reaping the benefits, it’s amazing how many people put their own money into their cars to be featured on hoonigan and didn’t make a dime
Glad you to have you pop back up! I look forward to seeing what you get to accomplish in your spare time! I know you stay pretty busy with your job at the "PLANT"😉😂✌️
It's legitimately heartbreaking for me to see how much hoonigan has gone corporate since ken passed. It was on its way before that but man... once he passed, it really spread up the process :(
Damn I missed you Brad. Didn’t know you were friends with beer money, watched a few things on the car and the drivers story brought tears to my eyes seeing him still race. And way to keep it real no collar and blue collar pay the bills. Union elevator constructor
When you named the orogionals….dang bro. Ya. I grew up on hoonigan. It was apart of me. Thank you for your part in bringing wonderful car content to RU-vid. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Brad!! awesome surprise to see this video show up in my feed. Super glad that many of my favorite past Hoonigan members are still making their own content. You guys jump started my love for cars and i’m super happy to see anything from you guys.
grown ass man needs a grown ass wage no harm and I have followed you from the first episode and the early youtube video of you racing love you keep doing you
Awesome to see you pop a video up! I missed em. I dig the ls content and riding trips. I was just out at Gordon's well last weekend on my banshee. I have a 86 El camino that I'm resto modding. (Gn front 5.3ls). Videos like yours keep me motivated. Good to hear the truth about hoonigan. Keep the content coming Brad!
HELL YEAH BAD DADDY BRADDYYYYY, ALSO i second that about trades. Started off as a maintenance technician at around 19-20 years old, within my third year i was able to afford a home, and fund my project car builds
I enjoyed your content more than mist auto channels. Your a workibg class guy who builds within his budget makes dur with what ge has just like 98% of us that are watching. I hope ya keep posting more regularly cause you actually teach and inform. Telling people to get a job in the trades and make a good living is truth speak. I'm 45 drive a semi truck delivering animal feed. I make a damn good living have insurance and retirement and enjoy building stuff in my time off. No shame in putting in a 60 hour work week. I still enjoy hitting the pull and sace wrecking yards for parts and building cars that will still shit and git without breaking the bank.
Brad, thank you sir for og hoonigan content back in 2018-2020. I broke my back then and was in surgeries and not able to walk. I can now walk gaining more mobility l.
Brad I hope you are doing good coming from the other side of the nation of Pennsylvania. To be honest you were the reason I found out about hoonigans in all reality. Just another dump in Long Beach welding in flip flops your awesome!
its hard to believe you were more part of Hoonigan than I expected. Loved the Build and Battle series though, it was a great concept but sadly didn't last very long. All in all you should be proud of what you're doing and how much you influenced not just Hoonigan but everyone else around you. Hope you'll be uploading more stuff on RU-vid in the future and maybe do more collabs with the rest of the OG crew.
Hey you might not be the biggest successful youtuber but I appreciate you being you, keep posting I get a kick out of every BadDaddyBrad post. You were missed.
Welcome to GARAGE GARAGE Brad saying that is first thing i think of when either Hoonigan or more importantly Brad daddy is mentioned.Brad your a straight Og not many of real gs like you left BIG up your chest your a hardcore legend 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
I wanna see that car on the track sometimes. That's crazy how it was for you at hoonigan Cool you got to do a lot of sick things though. But you're an awesome builder
Wow. So many of you stayed at port and let the Hoonigan ship sail on. Would be great if the lot of you old school hoon guys collabed a bit in the future.
Get it bro! Is that haydens son? I'm an hvac tech too. I talked to your boy Zac for like 45 min about ductwork at the freedom factory. He and his dad were in hvac too. He said when he moved to Utah to help Ken with his race team the ductwork at house he bought was shit and him and his dad had to reduct it thru the floor.
I went to the hoonigan yard in long beach just after that Sema 2018 be from Australia doing the tourist stuff I took photos of your car! I seen you try to start it and it wasn’t happy!
