Hoover Carpet Cleaner Leaking How to fix!

My Hoover Powerdash Pet Advanced compact carpet cleaner already completely leaking thru to bottom after only 4 months! Left big water stains all over my rugs. Very disappointed! Feel this part after only 4 months is defective! I did take apart and looked at the value but it seems to be working. I have a feeling putting new one on will do nothing but will try. Thank you!

I have the same problem but hoover has no customer service number and the cleaner has been discontinued .I did not see the valve on their parts. Their chat is awful and you get nowhere with the valve problem. What is happening with me is the little white plunger that causes the water flow is always extended and doesn't go back down. This causes the tank to drain . I will try to exercise it ,so it will go up and down . The trigger does not pull it back down ??Maybe be the trigger system is not functioning ? Can you post a link for the part or the part number please & thank you very much . Great repair video

The very first time I used this shampooer, it gushed ALL the solution onto the floor. This problem is a design flaw and Hoover needs to address it asap. I don't know if I can do all of what you showed...

What if it starts smoking & makes a weird noise? I brought it off Amazon it happened with the 1st one they sent me so they sent another & it happened again I really don’t want to buy another one if I can fix it
