North Metro TV's documentary featuring the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society has it all: bunnies running obstacle courses, touching tales, amazing rabbits, terrific humans, and did we mention all the bunnies?!
Filmed at the Golden Valley Animal Humane Society in December of 2013, Hop, Jump and Play is a profile of the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society. The MCRS is a local rabbit rescue that finds homes for bunnies that need families. We joined them for two back to back events. The first was a rabbit agility class, which promotes strong relationships between bunnies and their humans through training and running amazing rabbit sized obstacle courses. The second event was Hoppy Hour, 60 adorable minutes when the bunnies can socialize and play with each other as their humans look on.
It was a truly wonderful and inspiring experience, spending the afternoon with these remarkable people and rabbits. For more information about the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society, visit mnhouserabbit.org.

Ps. Coincedence ? I Found this Tune !! & used it to sooth Tina Bun who was on the verge of losing a leg..everyday we'd bathe her big floofy thumper and we'd sing along "You're Crazy Glue my Darling ,A few months later, We'd learnt all the words and Tinas leg was saved...Chamomile Tea ,bathing & Manuka Honey finally drew the last of the poison from a broken claw, That was after mths of bandaging and antibiotics from vet...x❤x

Jen Bean Humans in general are all bad, just some are more bad in public and some are more bad in secret. We love what we love, we hate what we hate and we don't care about anything else. Yes, some are far worse than others, but to some extent, we're all guilty of something. And that is exactly why humans are so damn awful. But never give up! Contact your nearest rabbit rescue, or House Rabbit Society group for assistance in bonding. It needs to be done right to be successful, and safely. They can help you. Go to www.rabbit.org and find chapters and educators listed by state, and you can contact an educator or one of the chapters. I hope that helps. It's a LOT easier to take care of them as a pair, than as individual rabbits.

I live live in Latvia. We don't have such things here. Rabbits are rare as pets here. There is no bonding help here. And internet tips didn't help either.

A super sweet documentary! I feel bad for the disabled rabbit though. It most likely does not have quality of life, and should have been culled at birth. Regardless, this was a joy to watch during the pandemic, makes me hopeful for doing agility with my bunny after.

I totally get what you're saying, but the bunny legitimately seems happy. It was engaging and smelling and moving around, which are all signs of happiness. Plus, that lady has spent most of her life with those disabled bunnies, so I assure you that she can easily tell if the rabbit is happy or sad (such as displaying withdrawal behavior and not engaging). I've been around a countless amount of pet and pet owners in my life, and if there's one thing I know, it's that an old lady calling a pet her "baby" is a sure sign that the pet is spoiled with attention and treats and a lavish lifestyle lol.

arnt u scared the rope will get stuck and neck the bunny as it is sprinting? i dnt even no if its a real thing but so many people said that when i had a bunny on a leash inc vet

It's attached to a harness, not a collar, so no it will not get caught around the rabbits neck

She is just a kid and she doesn't really understand what she is saying... but when she's a grown up she can be like "oh what I meant was 'I had no idea what I was doing or how to handle a rabbit until I learned more."
