Hope after Wife’s Confession of Affair 

You ate one of the rarest of PKs, and I’m so happy about that for you. My husband and his siblings, wasn’t that blessed. We’re now in ministry and we teach that family is our first ministry!! Blessings ☺️

Yeah i agree I mean we can find love by people but Gods love is far greater of course God never disappoints and leaves you fulfilled

I don’t like when people tell the story how they ended up cheating by bringing up whatever behaviour of the other person. You lady are too much me, me, me and I, I, I and that is why you cheated. Marriage is not about you,it is a covenant with Christ and with the other party. I respect the man for being gracious in this situation, but she is sadly full of herself.

I don't think she was cheating she was just being honest in what she was thinking at the time

EXACTLY!!!! this lady is a hoe!!!! And the poor guy is obviously very insecure! This lady clearly is taking advantage of his naivety. Going out having her fun. If I had to bet, the trainer probably dumped her and that’s when she ran back to her naive pastor husband . Blaming it on the demons blah blah blah. Plssss give me a break. This lady is for the streets. I hope this guy builds some self esteem and kicks her to the curb!

He knew that he too made a mistake by not putting things in the order that God stipulated in the Bible! Now that is a real Christian and a real man 🙏🏾💜!

That made me sick, too. If a man had blamed his wife the way she blamed him, the comments would be very different. But everyone act like this was so cute. It wasn’t. It was sick.

Yes. But I guess, like he stated, he kind of put his family on the back burner. We are to be committed to our relationship with Christ always regardless first and foremost. We ourselves are the church. Not necessarily where we attend. God does intend us to take time to rest and for our spouses and children as well. That is why it is imperative that everyone learn how to hear from God directly for themselves.

Yes. You’re right, however what he’s saying is that by putting his wife before pastoral duties he is stewarding his responsibility as a husband. That should always come first. Because a husband is to live his wife like Christ loves the church. A pastor is not responsible for the entire body of Christ, but he is responsible for what happens amongst his household

My pastor always says this - God first, family second, ministry third. This wonderful testimony is an example how third and second priorities can easily get mixed. But praise God that He heals and mends all that is broken to bring restoration!

Ungrateful? She didn't seem so to me. Are you angry that she didn't get what she "deserved" and her husband gave her mercy and grace? Giving sinners mercy and grace is the same heart God has for sinners.

I'm sure he knows he didn't "have" to stay in the marriage. To me it sounds like he chose to stay in the marriage, not out of obligation, but out of love.

So you are saying because of her outer appearance she is not worthy in Gods eyes? You are not God. As long as God is happy with her your opinion is not valid. God looks at the heart. Before we put our own judgement like we know it all let us look within. God bless you.

Sounds like she wanted to be _equal_ to God. - You, also, missed that he said he had a calling to be a minister/pastor -- I would assume that calling came from God. - 0:18 - She specifically states she WANTED to marry a pastor. - A pastor has responsibilities/duties: *Titus 1:7* _a manager of God's house, RESPONSIBLE for God's flock_ - No, a spouse is NEVER going to come before something God has called you to do -- and she knew that was his calling BEFORE they married. - Yes, he should have forgiven her, but his ONLY fault, it seems, is that he did acquiesce to her insertion between him and God.

I hope that you never experience complete un forgiveness towards your sin the way that you are wishing for her. God gave her husband the ability to forgive her because he understood Christ's forgiveness for his own sin. There is NO sin that is unforgivable by Christ. Maybe she wasn't saved before the affair but it sure sounds like she got saved in the process! Not all marriages can be salvaged after an affair but those that are can be a testament to God's redemptive love for us.

Pastoring and serving the Lord are not the same thing.

I don't believe it's wise to assume that if a person is pastoring they must have been called by the Lord.

@@Julie-kl5sp please reread my reply. To be a true pastor you need to have been called to pastor by the Lord. To pastor on your own accord is not a true pastor.

I agree with that, but feeling "called" is rather subjective.

She didn’t make an excuse- she confessed her sins and repented.
