Heavenly Father, You are my Hope for this world. Walk with me Lord on this journey. Help us Lord to make the best use of our time on this earth knowing that this life is only a test. Lord with You the best is yet to come. Give us strength to hold on to Your unchanging hand as we go through this wilderness here below and keep our eyes on You Lord because You are greater than whatever we face. In this world we will have troubles but help us to be of good cheer for You have overcome the world. The suffering we experience now cannot compare to the glory awaiting us in our heavenly home. I'm confused. Didn't Jesus say He would never leave us or forsake us? Also He gave us His Holy Spirit who dwells within us. So how can we be not with the Lord if He is living in our body, His Temple? God is Spirit
Amen. It is true God is with us always through His Holy Spirit which He left for us in Jesus Christ. But one day we when we depart from this world, we will be completely in the presence of the Lord with our new resurrected bodies and actually be with Him and behold His glory. In this earthly body we have now, we can not be in the total presence of the Lord because this body is not built for it. I hope this helps answer your question.
