Hope Mikaelson (+ Klaus/Alaric) | "You're not my father!" 

He also doesn't want to replace him but he wants to take the role of it. Because no matter what, she still needs a father role. Alaric is actually like a father for her even tho she says he isn't. Also I want to believe she will understand that she has a crew behind her, even lizzie would help her if she knew Hope was dying. Hosie and the others are already kind of bonded.

He also isn't trying to replace Klaus, all Alaric is trying to do is look out for Hope because there is no one else to do so

@@CaptainPikeachu There is others her aunts and uncles. They just choose not to because she spends most of her time at the school. So they just leave it up to those at the school like Alaric to take care of her while they live their own lives. The one thing that Hope's remaining family does for her is their the checks coming to the school keeping her erole at the school. Because going to the school is not free. But other then that they seem to not have any contact with Hope. Hopes remaining family are not there to guide Hope and being who she is and where she comes from as well as what she is capable of. She needs a parent figure to guide her protect her even if it's just from herself. Alaric loves Hope as his own and is playing the adult the parent because no one else does so. You don't see any of Hope's relative checking up on her as her mother would. Their busy living their own lives to worry about what their niece is up to and if not for Alaric Hope would become too dark to turn back and by time the other living Mikaelsons realise that something wrong it'll be too late. Alaric is trying to save Hope before it is not ignored until it's too late.

But the real cause that the rest of her family is because of the producer....all this doesn't make any sense...it's just because they have finished their roles in the originals and even the tvd....so the problem is when the producer decided to make a spinn off...she has to make coherence in it...which means to brings all what relates this show to the two other shows...that's it

Nobody could ever replace Klaus. Nobody will say “love” like him.Nobody could talk like him. Nobody could fight like him . Nobody could kill like him . Nobody could be him.

Do you think Klaus wants her to be alone, or would he appreciate that Alaric is around to look after his daughter?

I don’t watch the show I just watch vids when they pop up on my recs or I’m subbed to a channel. But I agree hope does need someone to look after her but ric don’t need to talk bad abt the girls dead father, which he did in one of the convos with hope. And The reason I don’t watch it is cuz Julie will prolly kill hope or one of the twins off, like she did with Stefan, Klaus, and, Elijah.

There was literally no reason for klaus to die. They could have put the darkness in the siblings and sent to the other side of the earth until there was a resolution orrrr as sad as it is.. Elijah could have just died and been with hayley while klaus lived to be with his daughter. Elijah was about family so that would have made sense..a lot of the deaths could have been prevented lol

I totally agree with you. He has to do it because he wants it not because he is pressured into it. Remember the tvd finale? Nina's performance was weak there. I don't want to see something like that. Still, I hope that if Hope ever turns into a vampire that he will guest star in that episode and meet with her in the phase between death and vampirism kicking in. Just ending that chapter once and for all.

I never really got why she was portrayed as being all alone after her parents' deaths. "The Originals" clearly shows us that the Mikaelsons would do anything for their beloved niece. Yes I know the actors didn't want to return on screen, but Candice Kind isn't there either and Caroline's bond with Lizzie and Josie wasn't straight up ereased. It wouldn't have been too hard to do something similar with Hope. She could be shown on the phone with them (Freya and Keelin could send pictures of little Nik), she could write to them, talk about lessons they passed down to her, even visiting them off-screen. Yes she lost her parents and is obviously going to struggle with that, but "The Originals" clearly stated, that she would have never been alone. Too bad the writers stopped caring about following or at least honoring the established material with the later seasons of "The Vampire Diaries".
