MAJOR UNDERTALE SPOILERS
OKAY I LIED THIS IS THE LAST UNDERTALE COVER I DO
I mentioned this to someone who had asked me to do this cover, and I had said that I would only do it if the inspiration struck and I could find some kind of new angle to look at it from. And what I thought of was this. I had arranged this whole thing in my head before even laying down a track (which took like a week before I had the time anyway). What I hope to accomplish with this cover is creating a bridge between the absolute wall of guitar that RichaadEB had, the orchestration of FerdK's cover, and the heaviness factor of LittleVMills. And hopefully I have accomplished that, and I SWEAR NO MORE UNDERTALE I PROMISE THIS TIME
In terms of mixing, this was a goddamn nightmare. Trying to cram orchestra with an already dense metal mix with like 8 seperate lead parts is enough of a nightmare, let along have the track be 8 minutes long. But I am pretty happy with it anyway, and I think this is one of my favorite covers to date. The Undertale OST just did something to me that just pushed me to my limits and made me make some of my best covers to date. So to that I say, thank you Toby for this game.
When it comes to covers, I try to encapsulate the feeling I had when I first heard it in game. And when I heard these songs, I went from a feeling of "Oh, shit's about to go down" to "OH SHIT IS GOING DOWN" to "My tears are crying why are you doing this". So whatever emotion you get when you hear a cover of mine is a pretty accurate representation of how I felt in that moment, and music is beautiful in that way. I hope you enjoy it!

maaaaaan just 40 seconds ago I was having anxiety and feeling really glomy about myself, my self steem was pretty low. Now i'm bursting up in tears! but in a good way /I think?) this is amazing, it numbs my anxiety and noy i'm just the kind of sad that can easily being fixed up with any funny cat vine. this may not make any sense.... it's just, I went from full anxiety/panic attack to calm saddness, like being rocked? I don't know. This song is already powerfull by itself, now this cover gives it an amazing strenght!

HOW DARE YOU make me feel all the things with this. Your Undertale covers have definitely pushed the boundaries of anything you've done. The mix, how you got this mix to sound like this with the shit ton of stuff going on I am just baffled, your arrangements...Its SO good. You definitely have some of the best Undertale remixes on the internet, and for a totally sappy moment I feel like you really grew with these last covers. Thank you for making this this. His Theme was a major part of a 7 year campaign I ran, PianoPrinceofAnime’s cover serving as the song used for indicating a dying character, an uplifting cover I can’t recall the maker of used for triumphs or resurrecting characters, and the whole time I had this in the back pocket to be used as the finale, the triumph, and in effect, the “death” of my campaign. Big emotions had by all, and this cover by and large stands at the top of the covers I’ve heard. I’m a year late in writing this (campaign ended a year and 5 days ago actually), but with my roommate finally getting around to undertale, and subsequently being barraged by His Theme throughout, which in turn given her attachment to the campaign meant it hit that much more for her, it reminded me I should come here and write this. So thank you again.
