Worst derby officials ever. Maybe watch the fact that one guy isn't hitting anyone the whole time. Ridiculous that he gets the win after that display. Embarrassing.
I used to blow my sons mind at demo derbies when he was just a kid he would often ask and still asks me what kind of car is that one and I would tell him you can tell what kind of car it is by the sound of the engine meaning ford chevy or dodge. I am still pretty good at it and do it to my grandsons now. I am in the process of showing my grandsons on how to SMELL if a car has a bad engine without starting em up. I started this when my oldest grandson was ready to start driving naturally he wanted every car we saw in our price range. Lucky mom his great grandmother was along for the ride the one afternoon I tell the kid the motor in the Camaro he was looking at was toast and me and great grammy were not footing the bill to put a motor in car that was 5 times over priced. I actually got the keys of that car from the salesman on the lot and left it idle about half hour and by that time the salesman knew what I was doing after it was hot enough sure enough we could all hear a slight rod knock.... My mom said case closed listen to your grandfather or else... My grandsons have to yet to find out family history that their great grandfather and my grandfather & uncle raised me in a speed shop. I literally grew up with grease on my diapers literally... I still have grease on my ah underwear..
@@symbologee ohio derbies are a joke..lived there for 7 years and those guys just run from each other until they are black flagged for not making any contact.. nothing super stellar about utah either...you want real derbies check out the midwest where everyone doesn't have their frames filled with concrete and every body panel welded with heavy steel plating

I see 1 comment on here that has a positive reply towards the weiner wagon and its probably the driver. Lol. What's sadder yet, is he really believes he's awesome. And obviously he's got the crowd fan base, confused about what a good derby is all about.
…was a sad way to end up for those now very rare mid 60’s Imperials that were lucky enough to have somehow survived for 58, 57 or 56 years ( from 1964, 1965 or 1966 ) to be heedlessly gutted out and destroyed in this demo for what ? …30 minutes or maybe 45 minutes of crashing smashing trashing demo driver and demo derby fan gratification? To needlessly prove once again that 1960’s Imperials were tough demo derby contenders ? That was repeatedly proven over and over during the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s …So what was / is the point of proving it still some more again in 2022? Long past time to stop trashing and destroying the last remaining survivor 1960’s Crown sedans, Crown Coupes and LeBaron sedans that are the last few surviving examples after almost 60 years …Long past time for the demo derby show circuit biz to be ponying up some ticket sales $$$, step up and field & showcase some surviving original as built or well done restoration show car examples of 1960’s era Imperial Crown sedans, Crown Coupes and LeBaron sedans …Out of respect for all the Imperials that were serially gutted & wrecked for all the demo derby smash & crash destruction mayhem $$$ over the last 60 years …In recognition of all the once nice Imperials that were gutted & finished off for lap after lap of demo derby smash & trash momentary acclaim & prize $$$ …or how simply after 60 years it is the decent thing to finally be doing …too late now for the mid 1960’s Imperial LeBaron, Crown Coupe and Crown sedan that were all ignorantly destroyed in this demo…
@@splittheseam0019 You are entitled to your own opinion as much as these guys are entitled to spend their money and time on their hobby. We don't care what cars we use. I have saved two imperials from being ran. I have a 64 crown coupe and a 66 crown that were too nice to run in a derby. They have been restored and are driven and taken to car shows. My friends collect roundbacks and drive them everywhere. I ran a 66 Bonneville my first derby that was a rust free Arizona car. You think this is bad, look up the 59 and older heats they have.
There is one basic problem. The most of those imperials are left on scrapyards of decades, with no one to ever restore them, often due the lack of money. So what do you prefer? To let them shine on the track one more time, and go out with a fantastic BANG? Or let the imperials die a slow death, by silently rotting away in a forgotten corner in some scrapyard? I think "Option number 1" would be the most obvious
I'm reasonably sure they most likely weren't all that nice , with trashed interiors , pitted chrome , missing trim , broken glass , it would cost way more to restore one than you would pay for a low mileage survivor , I know where there's a really nice 68 four door hardtop that could be bought for less than $4,000 , of course it will need paint and some minor interior work , and the normal brakes , lines , carb and those little things that add up very quicklyn, but it's still a very decent car .
War Wagon should be disqualified because he never made any good hits , he just drove around avoiding everyone except for a few minor sideswipes , even in the end he still hadn't made any good hits , in my opinion that's very bad sportsmanship , a cowards win .👎👎👎
