"Hopper" (Allman Bros/Volkswagen tribute) 

I once owned a groovy Volkswagen camper van, lovingly called ‘the hopper’. The vehicle plays a role in a songbook I wrote for my grandsons a few years ago. In the soundtrack that goes with the book the hopper is featured in an instrumental tune which was inspired by the music of the Allman Brothers Band, that way involving my grandsons in the kind of music their opa went wild on in his younger days. Obviously watching VW road footage on RU-vid made a spontaneous connection, so I thought it would be funny to combine this footage with the hopper-tune in a video edit. For those who are familiar with the Allman Bros’ music, the instrumental is loosely based on ‘Revival’ and ‘Jessica’.
