Zachary James Bower ahahaha how old are you..!? Like 12 I'm assuming Eminem hasn't been good since 2007 his music is actually garbage but in no way does that reflect on his rapping skills.. He's undoubtedly the greatest rapper of all time ABILITY wise, but his music is fucking trash and people who still cling on to Eminem as a viable artist are stupid as fuck... And to top it off you call Kendrick shit!! The REALLL question here is DO YOUUUUU even listen to Kendrick's music because I sincerely doubt it if you think he's shit!?
Everytime I hear this song it really hits me to the core. Not only because the lyrics are super relatable. (As in, the struggle of finding yourself and where you want to go next, but also the instrumentation.) Discovered Marcus when I was 17 I'm turning 28 this year. A lot of things in life I learned through this album. I truly hope, Marcus will someday make more music like this. Don't get me wrong, his new stuff is cool too. But this album and in particular this song hits different. Plus when I hear all these songs after a few years, there's a lot of lines I get much better now.
Youre not alone there man . Just came back to the ALBUM in 2023-2024 . i forgot how much anger i was working through, and finding strength in this album!!! i was 15, and i made sure to Keep this album around around!
You know i lost myself when i gave everything to one person and i was judged for my kindness and was mistaken for it was weakness i sit alone now with no-one and cant find myself i use to know what i wanted but now I'm lost cuz I can't figure myself out i find comfort when I listen to hopsin and and a sign of hope that i know the sun always comes after the storms thanks hopsin for giving me life to want to keep strong and motivation noone can bring you down but yourself keep ya head up and thanks gor all you have given...
That first verse... seriously. And the way the beat starts and the way he layered the vocals in the background - this song wouldn't be what it is without the texture and emotion that the backing vocals add.
Hopsin, I just want to say that you are my savior for bringing my heart back to life. I liked this girl in 7th grade, then she said yes which I was actually excited about, but then she told me "April fools and laughed about it behind her back with her friends. And your music that you wrote for other people just came to the rescue and I never felt better. Thank you Hopsin, you're a good friend 😊
Marcus and Hopsin are two people that became one person who shared to us his stories and his emotions for all of women, men, children, and everyone else. He is not only just a rapper, but he is a person who gives us advice about the shady things in this world. But mostly, he is a friend to us and he inspired me to not be afraid of who I really am. He is a good friend ☺.
It's a shame that people who hate on Hopsin are people who enjoy music that talk about be Being rich, Fucking bitches, Killing people, and it's sad, cause that's how our generation is just heading right now. Hopsin is one of the few rappers that doesn't influence people to do bad things, but he influences people to do great things for people! Thanks Hopsin, Much love and respect!
Some people are so poor all they have is money. I don't know where that quote came from, probably a song, but this is what I got from what you're saying, and it's true and sad about 21st century America
Hopsin is a person who actually teaches us about the horrible things in life that he has gone through and I always say to myself that I share the same pain that he and I have gone through. He is trying to open our eyes to what he is saying. Now, I finally woke up. Thank you Hopsin and if you get this, I know there is a better person in you pal ;)
Listening to this song now after knowing you've left the rap game just gives me goosebumps. Thank you for your music and all the lives you've touched through your ever so inspiring lyrics. Good luck with the rest of your life Marcus.
Absolute masterpiece hey captain 🔥💯 I had the luck of listening since drop and man it's given me some memories, such a great album for the era it come out in 👌 still to this day, I rate it and bump it
hey hop I just want to say man you have helped me through the words of yours songs I can relate to you and the way you grew up and you've helped me write my music you have inspired me to start and now ive written some songs and im aiming to the top.
Hopsin will truely never be completely gone. He has several other rappers he promotes and puts albums out for. If he.doesn't release a single or album for awhile expect him to ft. In many or some of his artists songs coming out. Funk volume for life!
Marcus, If you feel like Hopsin is holding you back, then become Marcus. We will all still listen to your music and support you. Life can be hard, and I bet there are a lot of things going on in Hollywood that none of us know about.. it really is a corrupt industry.
I'm honestly really sad but proud at the same time to see Hopsin leaving hip hop. For those of us who have been following him for a long time now since he was still a really underground rapper, we can see how far he has come and its almost like we've built a bond with this rapper. He came this far on his own, he's changed a lot of lives and many people now know what real hip hop is. He put his heart and soul into this album and its the best of the year in my opinion, hope you fix shit hop. I'll still be bumping your shit and will be waiting to meet you in Australia! Goodluck Marcus.
After trying years, after years trying to find a rapper that has a good image and a model i can follow to ; here's were i ended with. Enough said one of the most lyrical, best rappers i have ever heard. Thanks Hop, for all the music you have made. Good Luck In Australia 👍
Hop, you inspired me so much on my motives and intentions with my music. Keep spreading the truth about life and what it brings with fame. Your music will live forever!
Coming to the end of this album, all i can really say is that its INCREDIBLE. Hopsin has killed every VERSE, every HOOK. not to forget the production wow
5 years later and every song is still timeless on this album, that's when you know you have discovered a great rap artist. Only experienced this once before, relapse by eminem. Gimme that money is straight fire though, always gonna be one of my fav songs ever.
funny how your favorite rapper is eminem because he was the only rapper i'd listen to when I was younger other wise i'd be never be caught dead listening to it but you defiantly restored my faith in it ever since I started listening to you Ill Mind
I'm a rapper, artist, or whatever you wanna call it. Hopsin is one of my favorite artists and I've been taking rapping serious for a couple years now. I get jealous because I feel I'll never be as good as Hopsin, because he actually has experience with bs, so he has more experiences to rap about. Plus he just has dope lyrics and is murderous on the mic. I just dream one day I can be as dope and wise with my words as Hopsin is. He's one of the few rappers I look up to. He keeps it real and is an inspiration to many people. Maybe if I just stick to it and keep practicing I can get there. But for now, I'ma always be jealous of how dope Hop is. Haha.
I rap too man, and i know what you talkin bout, I hope that one day i can carry the torch that 2 pac passed down, then Eminem took and now Hopsin is holding.
someone told me about hopsin before he was famous i was really young back then and did actually listen to music, coming back everything and hearing it for the first time is one weird experience on how all of it went over my head. its sad that he moved to start anew but got fucked over even harder than ever before, itll get better yo
this album dope he truely brings back roots of hiphop which i love the classics. thank the lord for hopsin b/c i cant find a rapper nowadays thats worth a damn df is he quitting man
Same here. i am female, so of course I can't relate to exactly every line from every song, but that's because they are lyrics from a man's kind of wiev..... Can't change the fact that all the rest of His lyrics goes straight into My heart , soul and Brain. He is A LIVING LEGEND 🌟🌟🌟🔥🙏 som 💯💢💥💖💖💖🥰
hop don't leave us you have the power and responsibility to keep going not just for us but for you your marcus yes but you are still hop to me but if you think its best then do it but stay true to it you have a gift
people just need to try to understand where hopsin is coming from...he is a truely inpiring rapper...one of these days im gonna shake his hand and tell him he is right about the world and the way it works...he is just the first rapper that wasnt afraid to speak the real truth that everyone avoids day in and day out
Austin Burkify good luck. My grilfriend broke up with me a Month ago becasue of her depression and I have hard time now and Hop is giving me hope and motivation to Keep going
